An Unforgettable Day of Fun, Friendship, and Competition at the School Gate Residents Hangout

It's another beautiful day and a great day to have fun. When ever they are talking of having some free time out from stress, they say it's good to have some free time out from stress, and I decided to do that today because I have been so stressed lately, and I feel having some fun time out of stress will do me great help. Initially, we planned this some time ago, but it was not feasible due to some criteria, so we had to fix it this time to make it happen.

In the process of easing stress, we went out today to have a hangout with friends in a garden within my school premises. This hangout was organized by some people staying in a specific area of my school, which we call the gate residents. This comprises different people staying around the school gate. I wasn't planning to go because I felt it would take most of my time, but I was convinced by some of my friends to go so that we would be able to have some fun, relieve our stress about life, and also do schooling activities.

Things were made, and the program was slated to start by 11 a.m., but due to some issues that happened, we could not start by that time, and we now started at 12 p.m. We started with the opening prayer and then there were lots of activities after that like a quiz, tug of war, talk sections, thought sharing, world of motivation and many more. After that, there was merriment, which later happened and also extended the time that we were supposed to use.

To make the hangout fun, we all divide ourselves into different teams of four colors, which will feel more like a competition to us all. The teams that were created are team yellow, team blue, team black and team white, which I belong to. In the first round of the competition, we started at a good pace and then continued like that until the head of the hangout.

When we got to the point of doing the tug of war, we won at the first stage by defeating the team black, and the team blue defeated the team yellow. So the final saga was between team blue and team white. When the rope was settled, we got settled, and then we did it at first, and we noticed there was a cheating strategy in the competition. We then spoke up not to allow them to cheat us, but we eventually got defeated after all our effort, and the reason for that was because the team blue was standing on a sloppy ground while we were standing on level ground.

This gave them an upper hand over us, even while we fought so much for the first position. We got defeated on that part, and I was very disappointed even after the try, which I made. After all, we got to the menu section, which is the part where is we dance to have fun. This part is also the part I love so much, and I trust you can imagine the level of how I ate prawn crackers, peppered goat skin and also Chapman, which we used to compliment everything.

All these were done with the contribution of a thousand naira but trust me, everything we took there was far beyond the money paid. And at some point, to allow more people to come, they gave an advantage to those that did not pay, and this made it so much fun because people really came around for it, and we all got to see each other, and we were all happy together as one big family. Some really wish they had attended, but they couldn't because it wasn't for everyone.
