I’m takin’ notes on an excellent book recommended to me by @felixxx. I’m interested out of a ton of confluence with other things, and the fact that every cycle, memecoins seem to pull in liquidity with such an unparalleled ability.

Fear and greed pull us into markets, but how do these ideas take off?!

And then, there’s the right time and place for certain projects. I won’t dive into the specifics, but yesterday I touched on how an artist made a memecoin for eyes on his work.

Safe to say, the organic approach to building in public and aligning incentives can be quit effective.

But here’s what I found impressive so far:

• Paul Revere's ride is perhaps the most historical example of a word-of-mouth epidemic
• William Dawes also went on a "midnight ride", but wasn't even half as famous? Why?

The answer is that the success of any kind of social epidemic is heavily dependent on the involvement of people with a particular and rare set of social gifts.

There’s more to read into, but I think I can see the beginning of what makes something pop.
