FungiFriday Challenge : I Hunt in the Villagers' Oil Palm Plantation
Greetings of friendship to all my friends in the world. Today as my contribution in FungiFriday Challenge by @ewkaw With the theme I Hunt in the Villagers' Oil Palm Plantation.
All friends, during the holy month of Ramadan or the fasting month in my place of residence in Blang Weu Panjoe village, Lhokseumaw City, there is no rain. So the conditions are all dry. So all friends, I have a hard time getting mushroom plants. However, I continue to try my best to get mushrooms. I started walking and looking in every gap in the oil palm plantation.
Two hours have passed without realizing it, the struggle continues. Which in the end I got a hidden mushroom plant. A hidden mushroom plant covered by dry leaves and dry fronds from the oil palm tree. I got one mushroom that was the only one left. Then I took my smartphone and also a macro lens to photograph the mushroom. It looks like everything around the oil palm plantation is dry.
Thank you so much to FungiFriday Community Caretaker by @ewkaw and also all my friends. Hope everyone feels happy.
beautiful mushrooms, I always like the bottom of the mushroom to have neatly arranged and varied partitions
Thank you very much my brother. Greetings of success always
This looks like silky rosegill Volvariella bombycina
If so, they are rare. They sprouted from an egg-like structure. In your photo, you can still see the part of the egg it hatched from.
Apparently, it's edible, but it can be confused with the deadly mushroom called the destroying angel, so it's best not to eat or touch it if you're unsure. Well done, nice find. 😊
