🇪🇸 ~ Hace años me gustaba mucho ir a tiendas textiles de distintas partes de la ciudad para hacer compras espontaneas, por eso siempre que quería hacer un proyecto tenía un punto de partida, algo ya comprado, algo menos de la lista de materiales. Si, fui una feliz acumuladora de materiales, o como dicen mis amigos "una creativa precavida" porque nunca se sabía si esta tela tan hermosa o extraña tendría reposición en la tienda (ಠ_ಠ)
🇺🇸 ~ Years ago I loved going to textile stores in different parts of the city to make spontaneous purchases, so whenever I wanted to make a project I always had a starting point, something already bought, something off the materials list. Yes, I was a happy hoarder of materials, or as my friends say "a cautious creative" because you never knew if this beautiful or strange fabric would be restocked in the store (-‸ლ)
Hoy mis salidas a almacenes textiles son programadas dependiendo el proyecto y el tiempo libre que tenga (cosas de la edad) y el pasado sábado 28 de Junio fui a mi actual sede favorita de "El Castillo" en la zona oeste. La sede mas grande es la del centro de la ciudad pero aunque no lo creas, esta sede en el oeste de Maracaibo aunque no es tan masiva tiene mejor surtido-variedad en selección de tela por departamento, también es mi local favorito porque todo siempre esta muy limpio, la atención es excelente y hay un local al frente donde venden helados (っ ˘ڡ˘ ς) 🍦
Today my trips to textile stores are scheduled depending on the project and the free time I have (age thing) and last Saturday June 28th I went to my current favorite location “El Castillo” in the west zone. The biggest store is the one downtown but believe it or not, this store in the west of Maracaibo although it is not so massive has a better assortment of fabric selection by department, it is also my favorite store because everything is always very clean, the attention is excellent and there is a store in front where they sell ice cream (っ ˘ڡ˘ ς) 🍦
✦ If you want to find this store with few people, try to go after 1 or 2 pm ✦
✦ I started looking for a red and white print with an oriental motif but it seems to have run out :( ✦
✦ But there were new designs that were not there the last time I visited the store ✦
✦ I really liked this print for a long skirt or a haori to wear at home ✦
✦ AND THIS DESIGN IS CRAZY, DO YOU RECOGNIZE THE CHARACTER? ✦
✦ IS A CHARACTER FROM 1988, FROM THE VIDEO GAME “BUBBLE BOBBLE BOBBLE ” FOR NES ! ! ! I'M TOO MUCH OF A FAN 😭 💙 ✦
✦ And well on the tour I always like to take pictures so that when I get back home I can think about whether or not the patterns work for what I want to do ✦
✦ And there's a new section, small but wow ✦
✦ The prices are very good, I remember that this type of fabric cost about $30 per meter ✦
✦ But this beauty costs between $10 and $12 ✦
✦ I liked the white one ✦
✦ There is also a new continuous section of thread embroidered fabrics, I haven't seen them for a long time ✦
✦ Many sober colors ✦
✦ These were my favorites, although the embroidery looks a bit fragile ✦

Hay muchas hermosuras de tela nuevas, tanto en tipos, estilo y color, y aunque como siempre predominan en cantidad las opciones de tela deportiva (en Venezuela el tipo de ropa con mas demanda es la ropa deportiva) regresaron las telas con bordado en hilo, eso sí me sorprendió.
There are many beautiful new fabrics, both in type, style and color, and although as always the sports fabric options predominate in quantity (in Venezuela the type of clothing with more demand is sportswear) they returned the fabrics with thread embroidery, that really surprised me.
Pero este es solo el primer piso, y no conseguí lo que estaba buscando (tela con estampando de flores pequeñas y tela gingham), así que seguimos al segundo piso:
But this is only the second floor, and I didn't get what I was looking for (small flower print fabric and gingham fabric), so we moved on to the second floor:

✦ Here are fabrics for table linens and uniforms for pediatricians, dentists or veterinarians, fabrics with very nice thematic prints ✦

✦ This is new, I have not seen it before and I want to buy many meters! ✦
✦ My mind flies with ideas, yes, I need it ✦
✦ And these are somewhat similar to what I was looking for ✦
✦ But I'm not completely convinced... I wanted a yellow flower pattern ✦
✦ This second floor of the store has stretch and furniture upholstery fabrics, it's my favorite floor ✦
✦ It is gigantic and everything is of good quality ✦
✦ AND GUESS WHO GOT THE FABRIC I WANTED MOST MONTHS AGO? ✦
Ese día compre muchos cortes de tela pequeños porque algunos son para experimentar, y otros para producir más accesorios para el cabello para ayudar con las cuentas de los gatitos y sus cirugías de esterilización el próximo miercoles 9 de Julio.
En total pedí 8 cortes de tela de entre 30 cm de ancho y medio metro, pero fue muy gracioso porque primero vi 5 tipos de tela que me gustaron y al salir del área de mercería vi 3 tipos de tela hermosos y compré un poco mas.
La cuenta total fue de unos 9$ aproximadamente, bastante economico por aproximadamente 2.5 metros de tela, hilos nuevos, y algunos pequeños materiales extras.
That day I bought many small fabric cuts because some are for experimenting, and others to produce more hair accessories to help with the kittens' beads and their spaying and neutering surgeries next Wednesday July 9th.
In total I ordered 8 cuts of fabric between 30 cm wide and half a meter, but it was very funny because I first saw 5 types of fabric that I liked and when I left the haberdashery area I saw 3 beautiful types of fabric and bought some more.
The total bill was about $9$ approximately, pretty cheap for about 2.5 meters of fabric, new threads, and some little extra materials.
✦ This was the first account, very cheap! It's hard to control yourself not to spend more ✦
✦ This was my shopping list and I took a small sample of fabric from the orange dress I made recently, because I ran out of yarn and there are still things I want to do to the dress ✦
✦ This part of the store feels like going to the toy store ✦
✦ It's accessory heaven! ✦
✦ The walls of colored yarns look like something out of a film ✦
✦ Many are yarns for industrial machines ✦
✦ AND THERE ARE NEW COLORS! ✦
✦ And the small embroidery hoops are also back, the last time I came they were sold out ✦
✦ And this little paint palette, I need it for my embroidery beads ✦
✦ And here we get the small yarns ✦
✦ These pink mini cases are also back! ✦
✦ On previous occasions I bought some but there were still designs I don't have, glad to see them again ✦
✦ And now there are beaded versions ✦
✦ Next time I buy one of these and we make a post about "what can we do with costume jewelry for girls? ✦

Estuve aproximadamente 2 horas en esta sede, es muy agradable de visitar porque el aire acondicionado esta a todo dar y hay asientos, asi que puedo tomar descansos cuando necesito reconsiderar algunas compras o si veo algo nuevo que me gusta, nadie te apura 📝 🐌 💕
¡Se vale soñar!, y en próximos post les muestro lo que hice con las telas que compré. Un abrazo enorme 💙
I spent about 2 hours at this location, it's very nice to visit because the air conditioning is on full blast and there is seating, so I can take breaks when I need to reconsider some purchases or if I see something new I like, no one rushes you 📝 🐌 💕

Ay tengo muchísimo tiempo que no voy al Castillo, pero es de mis visitas aseguradas cada vez que voy a Barquisimeto, porque aquí no hay sede. Las telas están muy bellas 💜
Ojala se presente la oportunidad para visitarlo pronto, ha llegado mucha mercancía surtida y tambien no se si paso en todo el pais pero han modificado las sedes 🎉 la mercería es gigante y hay mucho material hermoso económico! 🙏
