🧵 {03/12/25} ✦ "Mushroom Cross-Stitch Embroidery" 🍃 🍄 ✨ | Needlework ✦ 🇪🇸 │ 🇺🇸

Para este nuevo reto-ejercicio auto impuesto considere empezar con algo facil que tuviera pocos colores, nada difícil o muy intrincado que pudiera hacerme sentir abrumada, y recordé lo mucho que me gustaron algunos patrones que guardé en mi teléfono de "pequeña naturaleza", cosas como honguitos, mariposas o frutas rojas 🍎 💯 y para que ese hermoso color rojo destacara escogí algo de tela base blanca y marqué el centro con algunos alfileres. Simple y sin complicaciones técnicas.

For this new self-imposed challenge-exercise, I decided to start with something easy that had few colours, nothing difficult or too intricate that might overwhelm me, and I remembered how much I liked some of the 'little nature' patterns I had saved on my phone, things like mushrooms, butterflies, or red fruits 🍎 💯 And to make that beautiful red colour stand out, I chose some white fabric and marked the centre with a few pins. Simple and without technical complications.

Últimamente pienso mucho en ellos, especialmente los de esta especie porque parecen muy populares hoy en día para inspiración de ropa, accesorios, decoración e incluso trajes de fantasía y sombreros hermosamente ornamentados.

Incluso he visto chicas hacer diseños de "hadas hongos" muy espectaculares, recuerdo haber visto en 2022 o 2023 más o menos a una chica con un sombrero de hongo en una convención (le quedó muy genial).

The winner of the pattern selection was this adorable little mushroom.

Lately, I've been thinking about them a lot, especially this species, because they seem to be very popular nowadays as inspiration for clothing, accessories, decoration, and even fancy dress costumes and beautifully ornamented hats.

I've even seen girls make spectacular "mushroom fairy" designs. I remember seeing a girl wearing a mushroom hat at a convention in 2022 or 2023 (it looked really cool on her).

Llevare este reto de bordar algo pequeño todos los días hasta el 31 de Diciembre, o bueno, mientras las posibilidades y el tiempo me lo permitan.

Al menos hoy fue divertido y me ha animado mucho, aunque mi rutina actual no es especialmente pesada, los acontecimientos que están ocurriendo a nivel global y todas las noticias en internet es muy difícil que no te afecten.

Gracias a Dios, allí están los pequeños pasatiempos y especialmente los tejidos, para ayudarnos a tener una pausa y llevar el pensamiento a un lugar más suave (⁠●⁠´⁠⌓⁠`⁠●⁠)

I will take on this challenge of embroidering something small every day until 31 December, or at least as long as circumstances and time allow.

At least today was fun and it cheered me up a lot. Although my current routine isn't particularly demanding, it's very difficult not to be affected by global events and all the news on the internet.

Thankfully, we have our little hobbies, especially knitting, to help us take a break and turn our thoughts to something more pleasant (⁠●⁠´⁠⌓⁠`⁠●⁠)
