Taking My Kids On A Steel Wool Adventure

My daughter, who turns 4 this year. Has been bugging to come out and do night photos with me, for months now. She calls it daddy going to the dark scary places lol

So I decided to take her and her younger sister on a trail just after sunset. For their first steel wool experience.

Being their first time, of course I had to make it flashy lol. So I added some fireworks into the steel wool and started spinning!

Their eyes lit up and they loved it! but that quickly subsided as the smoke from the fireworks lingered and it got darker.

It then became lets hurry up and get out of here daddy! The dark is scary. I explained that we had lots of lights and there was nothing to be scared of.

But to a kid that is not enough lol, I remember being little and it didn't matter how many lights there was. It was dark and scary lol. We quickly packed up and got off the trail. I asked her if she had fun and she said yes, but I don't want to come to the dark scary places anymore lol.
