Hiking In The Rain

avatar

This last week has been rain all day, everyday and I have been taking full advantage! There many waterfalls in and around Hamilton Ont. that don't have much waterflow (if any at all) for most of the year. So when the spring rains come, I will visit as many of them as possible! For this adventure I hiked along the Chedoke Rail Trail to check out Scenic falls. A 65 foot tall Ribbon/Cascade waterfall.

Down the stream from the falls I found this neat like structure.

With the rain and the trees starting to bloom, the trail looked absolutely stunning!

Then to end the hike I stopped at Mountview Falls. A 33 foot tall Complex Cascade waterfall.

Hello @terrywayne, it is a pleasure to enjoy your excellent images of nature and especially these waterfalls that you show us, I liked all the images because they really transported me to that moment I can almost feel the smell of moisture and oxygen that must exist in that beautiful natural environment, I can only congratulate you for your work and for the privilege of living in that beautiful place. (I am Spanish speaking, if I made a mistake with my English, please excuse me.)
