Frozen Princess Waterfall

Today I went to Chedoke trail in the west end of Hamilton Ont. for a winter hike. After a week of warmer weather, we have had a few cold days (-4c average). Just cold enough for some snow to fall and create some winter scenes. To my surprise the first waterfall on the trail was almost frozen solid! This usually takes weeks of freezing weather so this was a very pleasant and unexpected sight.

The trail goes right along the top of the waterfall so the only way for me to get shots of it was to put up the drone.

Princess Falls is a 130 foot tall complex ribbon cascade and plunge falls.
