Foggy Adventures

My daughter asked if we could get out for a hike, so we went to Chedoke trail (west end of Hamilton Ont.). A place I regularly go, with easy enough ways to waterfalls for her. But as we approached the creek from lower Chedoke falls, I realized the water was too high for her to safely get to it.

So we continued down the trail towards Westcliffe falls. Before getting to side trail and lower Westcliffe waterfalls a light rain and fog started rolling in.

As we made our way up the side trail, the rain let up but the fog got thicker.

As we got to the falls, the fog was fairly thick and my daughter found it to be creepy but still had fun lol.

As the fog got thicker, she liked it less and less. She wanted to get out of there. So we made our way out, but I could not resist putting the drone up into the fog first.

It was a great hike and we both enjoyed it. The fog was just the cherry on the cake (I have always loved a good fog).
