Abandoned Mid Century House

Built in 1958 and lived in by one family. This house was vacated in 2022 when the land was purchased as part of a development plan. A plan that fell through in 2023, leaving the house abandoned and decaying since.

I started the explore on the second floor, which was in pretty decent shape minus some very dusty old spiderwebs.

The main floor is where the decay and damage became very visible.

The basement is where things got awful, collapsing walls and ceiling. All covered in mold. So I basically ran through, only snapping a couple of shots.

The basement lead to an entryway and the garage. With some old fridges that were from stores, in them. Really did not expect to find those!

Was a neat little explore and pretty unfortunate to see it in this state, with no plans of repair or demolition.

What a waste, there are so many people in need of housing and there are houses like this that could be renovated and homes!

Interesting to take a peek inside!

Exactly.. if the plan went through it would have been 170 townhouses on the land
