HiveBr photo contest #31 coffee

When I saw this weeks theme “coffee”, I thought to myself: this one is easy! But when I opened my photo album I realized that all the pictures of coffee I have already been posted. 😅

I decided to make a new one just for this contest. Here is my entry photo:

I learned to make latte patterns couple years ago. One thing I can say for sure it’s not to ride a bike. It requires a lot of practise and if you stop making them you need to “ruin” a few coffees to make pattern you intented to.

Also it is important to have good espresso and frothed milk. For people who say that latte art is unnecessary I would oppose that it is a signature of quality. If you won’t prepare coffee and milk properly you won’t be able to make proper texture. It is not a rocket science but there is some theory behind it.

This is was my first try to make a picture:

I did not liked the shadows and the way spoon just hangs from the plate, so I made another coffee, grabed some coffee beans and took the mug outside.
