Wednesday Walk on a Gloomy Morning...

I was a bit worried when papa and I headed out for our Wednesday Walk this morning because the sky was quite gloomy and we could see some lightning happening from afar. Despite this, we decided to just go on with our usual walk. We decided to head to our city hall. I bet this is going to be our usual place because the distance is good and we could jog around as well.

It was already around twenty minutes past five in the morning when we arrived, but it was still dark. And I was also curious because the gate to the plaza was fully opened. It's usually close and we'd have to use the smaller gate.

I really like the gate's intricate design but I still don't understand why they placed a cage around the fountain. Haha And yeah... look at those dark clouds...

There were also some changes as we entered the square. The previous Christmas decorations were gone and the lawn was mowed. And perhaps you may notice the plant boxes on the farther side were trimmed. The city is somehow beautifying the place... there may be new Christmas decorations soon!

As we reached the other side of the plaza, our previous question about the fully opened gate was answered. This was the roof of the stage they used last time when there's an event. It's usually situated in the open area beside the square, but that part is under construction now, so I guess they're setting up this stage here.

Our city's festival will be held next month, October, so I believe they're going to hold some of the events in this area. I dislike crowded places, so I don't see myself attending... but I may show some progress of the preparation next time. ;)

I photographed papa as he was approaching from his jog. I just walked and brisk-walked today because I didn't feel very well yesterday, so I'm kind of taking it slow this morning. :)

A huge dark cloud kept forming, so we decided to go home earlier than usual. Anyway, we're going to continue our walk on our way home, so it's all good.

Even on our way home, Mr. Sun remained hidden. It was just gloomy, but it didn't rain at all. Ironically, it was pretty sunny and kind of hot today. However, as I'm writing this, I hear thunder from a distance, so it might rain later tonight.
