The Budding Flower and a Little Fella

I was walking around the house and garden to get some steps in yesterday. Well, I was also playing Pokémon Go and was looking for subjects to take photos of. It's kind of a routine since I don't always get the chance to go for long walks, so at least I can do so around the house multiple times. It really helps that our place is lowkey surrounded by nature. hahaha

My mom received some orchids from our landlady recently. I guess she's going to share about it on her blog one of these days. However, allow me to share some photos I took of one of them.

I initially wanted to document the budding flower, and perhaps take some progress shots in the following days. However, I got distracted by this black ant. It's alone, but it's quite big, so I thought it would be fun to follow it along. So yeah, enjoy the shots!

It's quite elusive and kept running away, but I could at least get some decent photos despite that. As for the last photo, I tried to focus on the flower bud. I can't wait to see it blossom!

I took all these photos in the morning. In the afternoon, we did our usual gardening work, and the sunset sky was so pretty again, so I took some shots from the garden. Let me share them as bonus photos!

I tried tweaking the brightness option on my phone camera, and the sky's colors are still pretty either way. It's been getting hotter these days, but somehow, the current weather condition has been very good to our plants. They're growing much better than when it kept raining for days.

It gets cooler at night and early in the morning, though... and the heat is tolerable compared to the city. We'll see when the hottest days in my country start next month. XD
