Pre-Wedding Portraiture - Couple (10 Photos)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

Hello and hi everyone. I hope you guys had an amazing day today. Today I want to share another black and white portraiture. This time it is a wedding theme outdoor portraiture. We went to a resort outside the city for this portraiture. It is about 30 kilometer from the city and it was near an abandon resort area. The weather was good but it has some very harsh lighting during the portraiture session.

We had to start a little bit late about nearly 10am for the portraiture. There was another one videographer had joined me during that time. We took turn to get our task done and it was smooth but only the weather was not that great. The sun become harsher and we had to choose our spot for photo and video as less as possible to be exposed with the sunlight.

For my first portraiture spot was on the aisle in front of the room where all of us stayed for the preparations. It was covered by the trees on the area and it helped a lot to reduce the direct sunlight.

I tried to get some of the old film look when processing the photos. With the poses and the compositions. I am not sure if the lighting and highlight that effecting the mood of the photos but I think I still have something missing on the photos to be able to get it to look like the old vintage film look and feel.

It was very challenging to shoot on the bright sunlight with the white dress. Getting a good exposure with this situation took me some time. This was done several time for me to get the good exposure, focus and the composition. The result was great for me.

After that we moved to another place which is the staircase of one of the room.

I think the staircase was a good spot for the photos. The lighting on the area was great too and it gives me some classic vibes.
