Elois in cotemporary Qipao (13 Photos)

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

Hello and greetings everyone. Time really flies. Weekend is just around the corner and its already in the middle of April. One of my plan for this year was to take a lot of photo on events and especially portraits. It seems to be progressing very slow due to the weather factor and my busy schedule.

I enjoyed the most going out and meeting with my fellow photographer and do some small photoshoot projects. This month is one of the busiest month for the preparation of our local event here called the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan also known as the Harvest Festival. All photographer across the state will cover as much of the event from each district and area. This will be a cultural season until the end of May.

So today I want to share another black and white series portraiture of Elois. A photography event that being held just before the Chinese New Year. This was a cultural theme portraiture.

The weather condition during this photoshoot was not that great. Overcast sky with dim light. It was a little bit hard to get the shoot at first. Luckily there was a time when the sun gave a good lighting and I had to get Elois ready for the shoot.

Elois had a very unique face expression. She looked matured compared to her actual age. She had a good pose and I just had to give her minimal instructions.

While she smiles, she gave a very cheerful vibes. A single change of her expression already changed the mood on the photo. I like working with her. She never complain and stays until the end of the photo session.

This shoot was taken with another lens, it was the 135mm lens. It gives superb bokeh on the background and for me this lens can create an amazing photo.

Elois was being exposed under the sun for quite some time for this few last shoot, but the only complaint that I get was it was too bright for her to pose with opened eyes. So the only way was to let her closed her eyes and I counted until three and she opened her eyes while I took the shoot.

I am satisfied with the outcome. And that is all from me today. I hope that you guys like it. I hope to see you guys again on my next pose and have a great day everyone. Always stay safe. Cheers.
