Whaling City Festival Car show part 2

Whaling City Festival Car show part 2

This follows on from last Saturdays post where I shared some of the Motorcycles at the Car show that was held in conjunction with the Whaling City Festival/Carnival in Buttonwood park.

Previous years I have gone to this car show early in the morning as the cars are arriving and leave before all the cars have arrived, this year I did something different and went around midday, which was better in a way in that most of the cars had arrived, but worse in that so had all the visitors checking out al the cool cars, so getting shots of the cars and bikes for that matter was a challenge with all the people around but was still fun to see all the cool cars which I will start sharing in this post.

Most of the cars there i only got one shot of, well with the exception of my step Brother in Laws car, but some near the entrance when I arrived and there was not to many people around I thought were very cool and will share in this post, mainly of a classic and some t-buckets

So let me start with this classic

Doesn't it have such a cool style

and onto the t-buckets ( I think thats what they are called) I always love seeing them and can dream of owning one someday and cruising around in it

now this one was perhaps my favorite probably because I do love the color blue and the superman touch LOL

from the sign I can see its a 1923 Bucket

How are you dear friend @tattoodjay good morning
It's good that you attended the midday, you were able to take some great shots
All the cars are beautiful, although I must admit that the classic car caught my attention much more.
Thank you very much for sharing this pleasant experience.
enjoy the weekend

The one with green colour is my favourite. Although I know I cannot buy it.
I have one word which you also have used "classic".

Growing up my buddy Bob and his dad were true motorheads. His dad raced a 1934 Mercury coup with a 454 with a supercharger and nitrous. It had a roll cage, the wheelie bars, a parachute. He had to wear a fire suit to drive it. The car did a quarter mile in under 6 seconds.

I love the look of these cars. So soothing and colourful.
Are these cars driven or they're for show only?

Love that kinda blue on blue paint job on the first car. Really classy and fits the car perfect.
