These shots are from the last photo walk I took at the Heritage State Park in Fall River, hopefully by the time I share this my luck with health improves and I am feeling better and getting out and about again

Fall River Heritage State Park is a history-themed public recreation area on the Taunton River in Fall River, Massachusetts. The state park encompasses 14 acres (5.7 ha) beside the Charles M. Braga Jr. Memorial Bridge on Battleship Cove, home of the World War II battleship USS Massachusetts. The park is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation

I Parked near the carousel which I will get to later and walked over this bridge to start my walk

Originally built in the early 20th century by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, this hand-carved wooden carousel features intricately detailed horses and a nostalgic charm that delights visitors of all ages. Operated by Red Oak Hospitality, the carousel is a cherished local landmark that reflects a commitment to preservation, community, and timeless experiences.

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

I hope you are recovering well and that everything is going better, so that you can continue with a peaceful, normal life and beautiful walks. This one has been spectacular, especially because of the first bridge and those beautiful colours in all the photograph🤗

Beautiful nighttime photographs. My favorite is the one you took on the bridge, with lots of lights and color.

I am a nature lover so when I see a view like that I never get tired of it. The scenery is so beautiful and peaceful, it makes me feel happy. I really enjoy looking at nature, it is always amazing for me. I hope you get well from your surgery and recover fast.

I don't think we spent too much time down here when I visited. We basically just visited Battle Ship Cove and then we had other things to travel to. That was one of the best trips, we did so much. We hit Battleship Cove, Bar Harbor Maine, Newport Rhode Island, Mystic Seaport Connecticut, all in the same trip.

Glad things went well in the surgery, and I hope you stay away from the hospital for awhile now!

Those were some beautiful pictures from last fall. I love the morning blue and sunrise, along with those old battle ships. Just imagine how many men served on those vessels over the years... I once toured a decommissioned nuclear submarine and it was so incredibly tight spaced, I would have gone insane!

That carousel looks cool, all the old hand carved horses are still there? Amazing!

Take care of yourself, I hope that stomach calms down the rest of the way so you can be back in shape for more fall pictures!
