Wednesday Walk Give Love Get Love

Give Love get love, there is too much anger and hatred in the world these days we need more love

and if your wondering why I used this to start the post, well it is something I think about when scrolling the news and social media, but secondly its explained with the last photo

Today I am going to be sharing some shots taken on the Cove Walk here in New Bedford MA

The New Bedford CoveWalk sits atop the New Bedford Hurricane Barrier – said to be the longest in the world, The New Bedford CoveWalk stretches for more than a mile from Cove Road to West Rodney French Boulevard. There are three entrances: one at both ends and a third near the middle. At night, the walkway is lined with hundreds of light fixtures, so this is a nice spot for a stroll in the evening, or early morning which is when I mostly walk there

Looking one way you see the water and the other some old buildings, one of them had a Gymnasium , Antique store and art galleries inside not sure about the others

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

Wow, that is really some lush green in the trees photo. I really like the way that one came out. The mural is fun too. Such a great message we should all take to heart!

If people gave more love, the world would be very different, just like that beautiful cinema mural, or those bridges you walk across in silence, or that bright green that is life.

Oh wow, what a peaceful place to walk and enjoy the fresh air, the pictures are looking spectacular. And that mural is very true, give love, get love - very simple yet impactful. You can only attract back what you give out into the universe. Love, positive thinking and optimism often brings out the best outcome in every situation.

In a world full of different people attitude is also different, For me sometimes even if you give love you cannot get it back. To avoid getting hurt, just love but don't expect to get love back.

Yes a good point, I think expecting it only lets us down just give love and respect to make oneself feel good and if it is returned its a pleasant bonus
