Wednesday Walk from the port up through the historic district
from the port up through the historic district
First let me start with apologizing, I had a crazy week last week and for a few days didnt have time to visit and comment on all the walk posts and then when I did there were just to many to catch up on, but this week I will do better
This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)
And I have been a bit slack of recent for getting out for walks, mainly due to the mornings being so cold, but i did get out for one walk recently Started parked at the port as it was so foggy out as I was driving there, but then the post was clear of fog so I ventured elsewhere with a goal in mind but i will get to that later in the post
Starting near where i parked the car if wasnt foggy but was moody

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍

most welcome and may 2024 be a great year for you
Beautiful Wednesday walk, especially the place of the boats, I like it very much and the last picture seems to be taken in a film location. Beautiful!❤️
Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
Have a great day
Thank you to you!
👍🙂👍
Wow, you had to be up quite early for the streets to be that empty! Fantastic shots as always! The historic downtown area where you live is definitely beautiful!
Not so early at this time of the year i think I got there at 6AM but still quiet, not like in summer when I head out at 4:30
That makes sense. We slept in a bit ourselves this morning and didn't get up until 5 AM.
Early risers like me, today I woke at my usual time of 4 but didnt get out of bed till 5
That will happen sometimes!
Absolutely Awesome Photos!
Wishing You my friend @tattoodjay a Blessed, Happy, and Safe 2024!
thank you so much and may 2024 be a wonderful year for you
How are you dear friend @tattoodjay good morning
It's good that you were able to go for a walk despite the cold days.
What a beautiful city, it looks very good with lights of all colors
Beautiful photographs, I appreciate you sharing with us.
Don't worry, those things happen, time is short for everyone.
Have a wonderful day
thanks for the understanding, looking at the forecast for the next couple of weeks I dont think I will be out for any walks, I need to be sensible with the cardiac stress test coming up and if I pass that the surgery soon after

thanks for sharing your link I will visit it soon
I love seeing the old district and the holiday lighting really gives it a nostalgic feel.
yeah I think it looks best at this time of year
Predawn photos lit up with holiday lights are really nice. I always like boats. The rich colors of the blue and red boats look even better in the warm light.
👍🙂👍
Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
Have a great day
This is indeed a beautiful night walk in the street. I am loving that Christmas Tree besides library. Trees with no leaves are catching my heart virtually.
Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
Have a great day

Some are still enjoying the holiday
No need to feel bad for not getting to visit and comment on all posts. Life happens and there is not much we can do about it besides letting it go and carrying on with what we can.
These photos are awesome and that tree is fascinating...especially the location!
Thanks for sharing this with us, @tattoodjay!
You can find my post for this week here!
thanks so much for your understanding and I will visit your post shortly
😉👍
Lovely pictures! The time is magical and you have mastered the light beautifully!
I was wondering, do you carry a tripod when you walk?
thank you and yes especially for my early morning walks I always have the tripod with me as most are long exposures<div>
👍
Really sorry for the crazy week you had and the cold mornings that make going out very difficult. Glad you had the chance to venture out and get a few pics. The decorative lighting is looking quite splendid especially the tree and the cobbled street, I do love the holiday season. Thank you for sharing and do enjoy Thursday ahead :}
looking at the forecast for the next two weeks I doubt i will be getting any walks in, have to be sensible with the cardiac stress test coming up and if I pass that then my big surgery so trying to stay warm and healthy
have a great day
Great pictures! You were up bright and early for that walk. It's nice to be out before sunrise, plus you get to see sunrise as a bonus.
ohh yeah in the warmer months I am out early most days well before the sunrise, not so much now with the cold temps
