Wednesday Walk another visit to Mattapoisett

Wednesday Walk another visit to Mattapoisett

Sorry this past few days and probably a few more I have not been commenting as much as usual due to some problems with numbness in one of my hands probably a return of carpel tunnel so I have been taking a break from so much time on the phone or computer and it is helping things are improving so I will see how it goes for a few more days so apologies in advance if I don’t comment on all the walk posts this week

This post if for Wednesday walk challenge And Make me Smile Collaboration challenge, initially our collaboration was once a month but due to the popularity of it we have decided to make the collab a weekly thing :)

Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)

On my Saturday post I mentioned that my visits to Mattapoisset Wharf had not been lucky for catching a nice sunrise well that changed on a walk the other day and that's what I will share in this post.

This morning I stopped first at the town Beach, which I don't think I have shared photos of before, its a nice small beach this is from on the beach looking out into the water at some pleasure craft anchored out there

and looking along the beach some nice colors in the sky

and looking out again from another spot on the beach, the rock wall and the curve of the beach probably keeps in sheltered and a nice relatively safe spot to swim

I then Popped down the road a short distance back to the Wharf a chance to catch the gazebo with some nice colors in the background, and you may not the beautiful green grass from Saturdays post, has changed quite a bit with the heat and lack of rain over the last three weeks or so

Weekly giveaway of shares

This week I am sending to the following who joined Wednesday Walk, for this week I did a random draw and the following each received some Hive @trangbaby, @ganya.grak, @pablo1601, @leylar, @jasperdick and @may2015

As @elizacheng and I collaborated with our Wednesday Walk and Make me Smile Challenges

And one person is randomly drawn who joins both challenges to receive one Hive from me and this week it is @TBA

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

Happy #wednesdaywalk! I love the reflections of the sky on the water in those first two shots! and and of the reflections of the pier. The kayaks are a great splash of color in the last shot. Charming beach area 🙂

Sorry to hear about the numbness in your hand. I hope it gets better soon... I think it's a good idea to just take it calm for a while as you say.

You've captured some amazing colors on this sunrise...with so much sharp detail!

Thanks for sharing and as I've said already...I hope your hand gets better soon!

Wow. Nice walk through to witness the sunrise at Mattapoisett. Lol though I don’t know where that it lol. But I love this because to me sunrise is more beautiful than the sunset. Saving pictures for my wallpaper ☺️

That's an awesome picture of the gazebo there. It's crazy how many boats they just keep anchored out there. Does someone take them out to the boat in a smaller boat or are the people just living out on the larger boats I wonder. Either way sounds like a great life to me!

Thats a good question about how they get to the boats or do they live on them, I did notice at this wharf a row of small dinghy boats tied up, perhaps thats how they get out to them

exquisite.

there are so many photographers here, but your sunrise pictures do something to me! hehehe without fail!!!

they just make me inspired!! that first one looks like it's from a fantasy story..where someone has reached the end of their journey and they're about to take a step off of land and into eternity.

it doesn't even look like sky and sea anymore...

it looks like walking right out into eternity.... I love it

love everything about it...

thanks for starting my morning with inspiration!!!!

love you weretwin!!! 🥰 hope you heal soon! but take your time. we will always wait for your presence here! you're such a special person JJ. Hive wouldn't be the same without you hehehe 🤗

It is a very suggestive and beautiful image.

I think that being a state close to Canada has that suggestion of sunsets or dawns of cold areas, with that particular intense red color.

That's a nice beach. I love gazebos.
Did I mention to you already that we have a gazebo in town?
Yes, we do! I'll probably feature it one of these days.
But first, I need to take a photo of it!
I wish your carpel tunnel will just go away!!!

Speedy recovery. I hope your hand gets better.

Very nice pictures. So calm and beautiful to see the sun on the water like that. Is it always so calm? there were hardly any ripples on the water. Thank you for sharing your walk with us. =)

Oh wow, truly sorry for the painful carpel tunnel in your hands. I have read a great deal about this inflammatory condition. Unfortunately you need to rest the affected hand/wrist for two weeks. Doing gentle hand, finger, and wrist-stretching exercises will be helpful too. I don't know how severe it is but hopefully it goes away soon. As always your pictures are looking spectacular, especially the vibrant colors in the sky. Thank you for sharing and enjoy Thursday ahead :}

The colors of the morning is splendid, JJ! I can not imagine what that feels like every morning! The colors are extraordinary and I want to say that it truly brings peace to my soul.

The kayaks make my eyes dance with the happiness they bring! I love going on walks with you! You make life feel good!

I am sorry about your hand and nonuse and it feels better makes perfect sense. I hope it feels better!

These are so gorgeous, @tattoodjay. I love the deep blue, red and yellow of the sunrise shots, and the one of the gazebo is stunning too.

I'm sorry to hear about your hands! Hopefully with some rest and maybe some physical therapy you can get them feeling good again.

Don't worry about curating my post. I'm just dropping the link here for completeness, as I forgot to do so after I posted it yesterday. https://peakd.com/hive-193552/@jayna/actifit-jayna-20220811t053237998z
