Good Morning,

Today I will share a few photos from a few walks I took a couple of weeks back or more, prior to my visit to the ER and the surgery.
Thankfully, I'm feeling a lot better today and I see the Surgeon tomorrow to get the staples out and hopefully get the all-clear to be able to get out and about for walks with my camera gear again. It's been a couple of weeks that I have been forced to be a bit of a hermit, so hopefully I will get some nice weather in the coming days.

Over the last couple of days, some redness has come up around the staples, but I think or hope it's not a big deal, but let's see what the doctor says.

But on a brighter note, let's get to some photos.

Starting at the Port here in New Bedford one morning, where I was lucky enough to catch a lovely sunrise.

Still at the port, and another shot of one of the cruise ships that docks here in New Bedford, this one as part of a cruise along the New England coast, I believe

and a shot of the Borden Flats Lighthouse historic lighthouse at the mouth of the Taunton River in Somerset, Massachusetts, howver the photo is taken from Fall River

And back when the Portugese Tall Ship the Sagres visited New Bedford.

And on the same day that the Sagres arrived, I got this photo of one of the Azorean Whaling boats and crew, escorting the Sagres into port.

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

I love the cruise ship. That's the type of cruise ship I would like to go on one day. Not one of those massive floating cities. Those scare me.

Good to hear you are on the mend. I've been off hive for quite a while with life events also.

I hope the doctor will soon give you the all-clear to go for a walk and that everything will get back to normal, let’s hope so!! But anyway, what lovely photos you’ve shared the first one is like a dream, and the Portuguese boat is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing this walk, I love boats!!!🤗

Just a few random shots from here and there during my Wednesday walk. 🚶‍♀️🌿 Nothing fancy, just little moments and views that caught my attention along the way. Sometimes, a simple walk is enough to refresh the mind and enjoy the beauty around us. 💚✨

I'm so sorry you had to endure another surgery, Jay. I sure hope it is the last one for you. Lovely shots as always, and the sunrise photos are always my favs. Be well.

Oh, I'm sorry you had to go to the ER and undergo another surgery. But I'm glad to hear that everything went well; I hope you'll be fully recovered soon.
