Walk the Plank

Good Morning, I hope life is treating you well

for todays post I was perhaps inspired by my visit to the replica old ship the New Trinidad, although I will say she does not feature in this post but will in a post soon,

but the day after I visited the tall ship I took one of the photos in this post and as I did the thought of walking the plank came into my head even though it was not a plank nor on a Pirate ship but it gave me that thought so I found a few other images which if you have a warped mind like mind it could make you think of walking the plank LOL

Starting with this image on a walk around the port here in New Bedford

I know its clearly not a plank, but if you squint and let your imagination run wild maybe you will see a plank

I think it was this photo that inspired the post as I was visiting the Harbor in Mattapoisett one morning a little ramp down to a platform

OK this is clearly not a plank, not even close but I felt it fitted in well with the other image sin this post

Another morning this time I am by a yacht club in Dartmouth

Now this is I will admit very similar to the first photo and on the same day but I switch from Landscape to potrait style to include the moon in the image

Wow, that first photo is probably my favorite. Did you do something when you took the photo to get the lights to look like that or was it post processing? It's a cool technique.

thanks and its a bit of both, I took three photos at different exposures and merged them together, plus using a wider aperture and a long exposure got that effect with the lights

Shot including the moon a great capture, streaking sky in flames even better if one has to walk the plank!
