Tuesday - New Area in Buttonwood Park

Recently, after a sunrise walk, I stopped by Buttonwood Park here in New Bedford, and checked out the new area that they have been working on for a few months now, and I found that it looks like it's close to being completed. I had a few shots in my to-go in posts folder, but had not gotten around to writing the post yet.
But yesterday morning, I happened to swing by the park again and caught some sunrise colors over the pond, so I will start with one of those shots, then go to the new area and finish off with a couple of more from yesterday.

I was surprised to see the color in the sky, as I had done a sunrise walk earlier by the coast, and the colors had faded away, so I headed off, actually on my way to the supermarket, but got near there a while before it was due to open and stopped at the park.

Initially, there were not many sunrise colors, but then they came out nicely, so before walking down tot he new Area I took this one.

Now onto the new area, they have done a nice job of it

a small pond surrounded by nice greenery.

and a spot to sit and relax and enjoy the calm of the park, well as much as you can. There is a road just across this small pond, and at times that road gets lots of traffic.
