Good Morning

Today I will share some art I have seen on walks around New Bedford MA, I love it when a city embraces art
This vibrant Buddha and lotus mural is located on the exterior wall of Spicy Lime Thai Cuisine at 527 Union St in downtown New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Painted by local artist BB (@bbthegun508) which is the Instagram handle for Brian Tillett.

and next up a New Mural, honoring civil rights activist Dr. Jibreel Khazan is located in the courtyard of the New Bedford Community Health Center.
The artwork celebrates Dr. Jibreel Khazan, who was the last surviving member of the historic "Greensboro Four" students who sparked a national civil rights movement with a 1960 lunch counter sit-in.
The permanent installation was designed and painted by local artists David Guadalupe and Jeff Henriquez.
Work on the community project began in 2019 and was completed and unveiled in July 2026

Art really makes an ordinary walk around the city more interesting. 🎨😊 It’s nice discovering little creative pieces along the way. Happy Thursday! ✨
Now I need to look up the Dipper Cafe on Google and see what their menu looks like! It looks like a cool little place!
Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay.
I hope everything goes well with your visit to the surgeon, and that you get permission to go out with your camera to take some beautiful photos.
I love the art in your streets.
