The Beach by Ned's Point Light
Good morning everyone Have a terrific Tuesday
For todays post I am sharing some shots from a visit a little while back to Ned's Point in Mattapoisett.
I have shared a few posts of visits there mostly focusing on the Lighthouse that is there, but this post is different as I will focus instead on the beach that is off beside the carpark there, which I have not often shared photos of.

I often see people drive to this park on my early morning visits there, most of them just sitting in there car watching the sunrise, occasionally someone walking there dog around the little park around the lighthouse, and a couple of times I have seen people park, get fishing rods out of their vehicle and walk along this beach to do some fishing.
As you can see its a nice little beach, quite rocky and with some sea grass.

that morning there was some nice subtle colors in the sky, was nice and warmth with a refreshing breeze coming in over the water.

Its not a very long beach till one gets to a sign saying private beach, which although I have been tempted to ignore as its early morning and wonder who would see me or do anything if I walked on the private beach, but then I decide to abide by the sign so I walked back and forth along this little beach as the morning light changed.

And this last shot is as I am back in the car Park looking toward the beach I walked before jumping in my car which is just behind me in this shot and heading home.

i would really like to be on that beach with a loved one watching the sunset. i actually havent partake in anything recently. i should probably go to the park this weekend and have fun. i hope i do that

Nice sunrise shots. I like the details of the beach like the tide coming in on one shot and the rock wall on another.

I was going to say, it looks a bit rocky! We have some really rocky beaches along our coasts. I remember stumbling over all the rocks as a kid. It never stopped us from swimming, but it sure wasn't easy!
I from even back when I was young much preferred rocky beaches, less people go there and even if its a pain perhaps to walk on to get to the water for the peace and quiet I like it that way :

Man that beach is calling for my feet to walk along it and get caught up in imagining the journey each of those rocks had to settle together.
Being landlocked with nothing but ponds around makes those beach views even more special and memory triggering.

ohh yes looking forward to some real spring weather, looked like it was heading our way but the extended foreast shows it cooling it down again in a few days and maybe even some more snow next week

In the past few days, we have been close to 20C but it will cool down again, says the weatherman.
Most snow is gone and the first Spring flowers are blooming.

Special lighting early morning, crisp in the breeze you mentioned. Grasses on the beach most unusual not something you see often right to the waters edge.
Stunning captures, a lovely bay to walk with Spring on your doorstep, more daylight hours.

on the less visited beaches around here i have noticed a lot of the sea grass growing right by the water
Only ever remember seeing grasses then many rocks before sea in Cape Town.
