Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Sunrises around the area
Sublime and Beautiful Sunday Sunrises around the area
This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.
The Most sublime and beautiful sight for me is a sunrise, its a magical way to start the day, never knowing what mother nature will share with us as the light grows
Today I will share a few sunrise shots from various spots not too far from where I live
I will start of in Fort Tabor National Park here in New Bedford, I spot I often visit to catcht he sunrise, mosty times I am on the beach to catch the sunrise colors, but occassionaly I walk to other spots in the park, another spot I like at this time is looking out along this rock wall
I think I like the contrast of the rugged rocks and the smooth water

This next one is taken on Popes Island, it was a nice sunrise that morning but I didnt capture the colorswell so I played around enhancing it a bit in lightroom, at the time I was editing it I was quite happy with it, but looking at it again now, I am not so sure, thinking perhaps I over did it and it does not look natural

Next up i am on the Rail trail in Mattapoisett, a beautiful spot for a walk or a bike ride, with nice views over the water
I still haven't walked the whole trail, an seriously thinking about getting a bicycle, or an e-bike a folding one that fits easily in my SUV, and then I could take it out some mornings and explore a little further in some spots include riding this whole trail :)

and I guess I have a thing for rock walls as here is another one, walking alongside the hurricane barrier wall heading out by Palmers Island

Great colors. Cool to have 4 different locations/backdrops for the morning colors.
There is definitely something special about that contrast in your first shot at Fort Tabor. The 5-second exposure makes the water look so ethereal against those "rugged rocks." It’s the perfect way to capture the "magic" of a New Bedford morning!
