Love all the spring colors

This post is for #SublimeSunday, which is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

Most of my recent walks have been sunrise walks, but I have and will be sharing plenty of posts from those walks, so I thought for these tags today I would share a few spring shots I got at the start of spring.

After a long, cold and grey winter, well and white with all the snow we got, seeing the spring flowers come up is also a great thing, and I try to get out for a couple of walks at least in spots to catch some spring colors during the day

And one of those spots is the Haskell Gardens here in New Bedford

But first, a little bit about the gardens
The late Allen C. Haskell, a lifelong New Bedford resident and famed horticulturist, assembled these six acres—the site of a traditional New England-style common, beautiful historic gardens, and one of the oldest homes in the city—over more than 30 years. Today, it’s a public park and an unlikely botanical respite, blooming in the heart of New Bedford.
It is supported by a Group called the Trustees, who maintain many parks in the area

On a side note, a couple of things, when I drove by there yesterday, I noticed the greenhouses were all gone

And the other thing I mentioned about a local photographer and artist group planning a walk in the gardens and how I was thinking of joining, well, on the day it was scheduled, it rained, and they moved it to this coming Sunday, where the forecast is looking good, so let me see if I can overcome my shyness and go join it

Let me start with this beautiful Tulip

And this one, which I love the color of, is a Grape Hyacinth

now a weed and so frustrating to many homeowners when these grow in your lawn, but personally, at the start of spring when they pop up with their lovely yellows, it does make me smile

and finishing as I started with some other Tulips

And that’s all folks

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay.

I love nature; spring is wonderful, seeing the plants come to life and fill the meadows with color is marvelous.

Beautiful photographs.
