Sublime and Beautiful Sunday a few of the flowers in Haskell Gardens

This post is for #SublimeSunday, which is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108.

Good Morning, I hope your weekend is going well.

Today, I will share a few shots from a visit to Haskell Gardens here in New Bedford, MA.

These were taken on the recent photo walk with a group called the Fall River New Bedford Artists collaborative, and I both had fun and got plenty of cool shots, including these, which I will share today

But first, a little bit about the gardens
The late Allen C. Haskell, a lifelong New Bedford resident and famed horticulturist, assembled these six acres—the site of a traditional New England-style common, beautiful historic gardens, and one of the oldest homes in the city—over more than 30 years. Today, it’s a public park and an unlikely botanical respite, blooming in the heart of New Bedford.
Its is now managed by a group called the Trustees who manage a few parks and sights in the area.

Since its a post for both Sublime and beautiful Sunday, I thought some lovely flowers would fit well

Now I am no expert of flowers but I do believe this lovely flower is a Rhododendron, but I could well be wrong, feel free to correct me if that's the case

I do remember when I looked them up, this next one is an Allium, but to me I always think of them as sturburst or fiework flowers, and it's probably my favorite flower that I saw that day

Now this next one, I had to look up it is a Clematis lanuginosa, and it blooms twice once in Spring and again in summer

And back to the Rhododendron but not so colose it showing the colorful plant

And that’s all folks

I am so glad to hear you went to the meetup with the Fall River New Bedford Artists collaborative and had a great time! Stepping out of your comfort zone can be tough, but it clearly paid off with some amazing fun and plenty of cool shots. Looking forward to seeing more from the walk!
