Some cool details I spotted on a walk around Fairhaven MA

Good Morning
Today I will share a few shots of some of the cool details I noticed when taking a stroll around Fairhaven MA one day.
Now Fairhaven is a town with a Population of a little under 16,000 so not small but not big enough to be counted as a city

There isn't a universally agreed-upon population number to define a city. and I know some may consider a city to be more than say 5 or 10 thousnad people, but here in the United States, a city is generally considered to have a population of at least 50,000, especially when it comes to the U.S. Census Bureau's definition of an urbanized area.

so I guess with its population its considered a small town, but it sure is big in character, with some well off people having donated various buildings ot the town, including the town hall building where many of the featues I share today are one

Designed by Charles Brigham and built in 1892 the Fairhaven Town Hall was given to the town by Henry Rogers, a wealthy industrialist and businessman. This high Victorian gothic inspired hall even includes granite trim quarried from various Massachusetts towns

I am not sure what it is about old lights like these but they always catch my eye

and this is on the Unitarian Memorial Church which has such cool details, and the little elf hats someone put on top of the two heads did give me a chuckle :)

Wow. I love the stone work and the light features that look classic in style.

We are apparently a city of 35000. I moved here from a city of 2.5 million and consider this a small town but apparently city is the official designation ;)
