Popes Island a sunrise walk
Good Morning, and I hope your weekend is going well, today I will share a few shots from a walk I took the other morning on Popes Island here in New Bedford MA,
I was lucky enough to catch a nice sunrise there again on this walk
this first shot is near to where i park my car there, walking across the grass alongside the marina
That morning after overnight rain the grass was wet, and I realised the hoes I were wearing were not in the leats waterproof and my shoes and socks got soaked luckily it was warm enough that wasnt an issue

As I was walking to this spot to take photos of these boats, A guy got out of his car and talked to me briefly and asked if I had taken shots of his Boat the Lady Brittany, in the low light at the time I couldnt read the name son the boats, but I did happen to get this shot of it, I hope he gets to see it,

just rRound a bit from that spot I come by this bridge as I cross the road to the other side of the island
Funnily enough as I said in the last post, I shared with shots from POpes Island I generally did not visit Popes Island on days I thought there would be a colorful sunrise,
As it happened this day I was initially driving to the port and I saw the swing truss bridge was open for cehicle trafic and changed my mind and headed there again

and this last shot I am back on the grass, another view I often check out when I visit there, the motion blur inthe water is actually some geese swimming along, I could have edited them out, but for some odd reason I kind of liked the effect at the time I edited this shot.

Great morning blues. I have some waterproof boots I use when the dew is heavy. I just recently started wearing them. Never thought it was worth the hassle but dry feet are nice 🙂
Indeed dry feet are nice, this morning i wore my waterproof sneakers and they helped ;)
🌅 The reflections around the harbor and the boats sitting quietly in the morning light create such a peaceful scene. Sunrise walks like this always feel rewarding! 😊
