Saturday A few random shots here and there

A few random shots here and there

A few random shots from here and there will be what my post is all about today, and there different from most shots I normally share as these are all from day time walks whereas most of the photos I share are taken on early morning walks before and during sunrise.

This first one was taken one day when I was out to get some shots of ht Veterans day parade here I walked to the spot where I wanted to catch the parade coming by, which happened to be not to far from where i live and hence why I walked ;)

Once i found a good spot and was waiting for the parade to start I was looking around and noticed the headstone and flag, Luckily I happened to have my longer lens in my bag the Tamron 50-400mm Lens, so swapped that onto my camera and got this shot.

I prooably should have saved it to share on Verterans day, but Ohh well sharing it today

This next one I believe was one day when I went to the nearby Midas for an oil change and tire rotation, and while they were doing it I walked to a small green area nearby and got his shot

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay.

What beautiful random shots; while they're all lovely, the last one is fantastic.

Have a wonderful weekend.

How are you, my dear friend @tattoodjay?

It's great that you didn't have to walk far to see the parade. You took some beautiful photos.

Have a great day.

Some great shots! That first one is wonderful, I assume it's a Civil War grave by the weathering of the headstone. It's sad to see how these old markers erode away with time as back then the used very soft stone to carve them out because it was easier. The sad part is now many from the Revolutionary era are becoming unreadable due to all the erosion. I'm sure they are all properly cataloged, but it would be nice if they were to replace these ageing tombstones with new ones once they become unintelligible.

The well and that tree knot are really nice shots. Very cool random Friday, I enjoyed them!

Hah! Love them random shots and thoughts.

Here is a random shot from my travels this week. Imperfect through the rainy windshield and while distracted with the driving. Lots going on in our sky this month!
