on the rocks

on the rocks

Good Morning and have a great day

Today the theme of my post is rocks, but I guess if you read the title you had guessed that already, mind you, I also guess one may have thought it could have been related to having a drink on the rocks, ie with ice.

But i very seldom drink these days, I think I had my only and only drink for this year yesterday, my wife needed to go to a medical centre about 20 minutes away from us to have blood tests done before we go back there next week to see her endocrinologist, the Dr she sees used to be at a medical cemtre closer to use, but he and his team moved to another medicla center, and they current medical group we go to did not have any taking new patients, plus my wife trusts the one she was seeing so its n a big deal to drive there every few months.

Now you may be wondering what the heck taking her for blood tests has to do with having a drink, well after the blood test we were both hungry and a Smokey Bones restaurant was close by and since we both enjoy the food there we headed there for lunch.

My wife decided she wanted a margarita, so I decided to join here, I normally would have a beer, but felt like somthing different and had a drink which was vodka and a strawberry flavor that was actually quite nice.

Now, after all that waffling, lets get to the real subject. I seem to have a fascination with taking shots of rocks by the water and will share a few in this post

starting with this one in Fort Taber Park

Still in the park infact just a little further along the same path is this rock wall

Nothing wrong with eating with the wife , always better than visiting the hospital with the wife.

Hey dear friend @tattoodjay, how are you?

It's great that you accompanied your wife to the clinic. I hope all the tests come back clear.

Excellent choice! I think you had a drink made with vodka and grenadine; it's really delicious.

What beautiful shots! A great way to start the day, looking at and photographing rocks.

Have a great day!

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay

It's a shame your wife's medical team has moved. I hope everything is alright with her tests.

I'm also passionate about taking photos of rocks at the water's edge.

Beautiful photos!

As always beautiful photos with these rocks.
Wow, only one alcoholic drink this year. I'm impressed. I thought I drank less, only on weekends and usually a beer from a local brewery... except for parties and in December lots of evenings with friends and family 😅

What a pretty area even away from the fort. Those are great shots, I really like that third one today, not even sure why, it just draws me in. Sunrise is always beautiful on the ocean in the morning on the east coast!

How's the week been treating you?

The atmosphere at the beach is truly beautiful. The colors are so eye-catching because they're so striking, and especially when you take pictures from different angles, they look incredible. I've never seen a view this beautiful.
