Monochrome Monday a few shots in the Historic district
Good Morning I hope you had a good weekend and wishing you a good week ahead
Starting the week as I tend to do with a few mono shots, today I am sharing a few shots taken around the historic district
Most of the photos I take are around sunrise and I mostly use my wider Tamron 17-28mm Lens, but these were taken on a walk either after sunrise or during the day, where I used a couple of other lenses, three with the Tamron 28-75mm Lens and this first one with the tamron 50-400mm Lens
This is on top of the whaling museum in the historic district of New Bedford, I still haven't been in the museum yet, I was going to go there last week, but my wife asked me to save it till it is warmer and she would go with me, which I agreed to.
Since he broke her hip and had other complications and was in a bad way for weeks in hosspital, she has not been that interested in going out anywhere unless she has to, I think a lot due to lack of confidence, so I was glad to hear she was interested in going to visit it and hope we can do it this year

I do love the Belgian block streets here in New Bedford and feel photos with them often call for mono edits

another Belgian block street, I feel the mono edit gives a cool timeless feel, especially when I edit out the modern cars parked on the street
Prior to editing this shot there were about 5 cars parked on the street which I removed, not sure why I left the one in
