Mono Monday goes to feathered friends

Mono Monday goes to feathered friends

As is my habit on a Monday I am starting the week with a few Mono Images, most of them taken in this last week and a theme I dont think I have used for a Mono MOnday post before all photos of some feathered Friends, ie birds

I ducked one afternoon to the Pond at Buttonwood Park to get some steps in and do a photo walk, wlel honestly to walk and unwind I had a few things going on andm y brain was racing, this walk by the poond did as I hoped it would my mind stopped racing and I was able to thing things through and calm down and relax.

Ohh and of course to take some photos, at the start I had some settings wrong and they were coming out dark, I adjusted the settings and it being a reyish day the first photo came out looking almost mono, and thats when it came to me to use photos of the birds from that walk for a post and all in this post are from that walk

a Close up of a goose complete with a drop of water

in the center of the pond there was still some ice formed, geese feel clearly do not feel the cold as much as mine do :)

and not to leave out the seagulls who are always there and on a side note, one of them did a fly by dump and hit me, I am not sure if its just me and this never happens ot others but seagulls other spot me when I am out walking

You have to watch out for those seagulls... They are good at targeting people! It's always amazed me how animals tolerate cold better than us humans. They evolved to survive in their environments, and we did too by building shelters since we can't tolerate the cold like they can.

Those are some great photos. It's always fun watching the birds!

What beautiful pictures my friend, I really like them all, how nice that you took that walk in the park and then went for a walk in the pond.

Thanks for sharing the photos with us, cheers!
