Mono Monday a few shots here and there

Mono Monday a few shots here and there

Good Morning another work week begins, well for those who work, I am fortunate enough to be retired, but weekdays is when we have appointments, seems at our age there mostly medical appointments, LOL

As I tend to do I am starting the week with some MOno images, taking from recent walks here and there mostly around New Bedford MA

Starting with a shot taking on the Harbor walk, a walkway the city built on top of the hurricane barrier wall and a lovely spot to take a stroll, if i drive by there during the day I often see people walking there but in the early morning when I go for most of my walks I generally have it all to myself.

These days I often walk back and forth along it twice to get my steo count up, now that I am focusing on trying to get my 10K steps in at least every day and most days while out for my walk, I am walking more, and taking less photos between steps, probably a good thing i used to take far to many photos and never have the time to edit them all

Next up was from a morning I parke don Popes Island, walked across the bridge to fairhaven where this shot was taken I love the ffect the long exposure had onthe clouds in this one

Another spot I often go for a walk is around the port.

And this is Fort Rodman in Fort Tabor park, I was there this morning as I prepare this post, and with the sunrise slowly getting later I was able to try some light painting this morning, was fun to do that again

It's sad how that seems to be the case. The times you do find yourself going out and about it's for medical appointments! I'm glad you are still able to get these morning walks in to give you some variety!

Good morning, Mr. @tattoodjay

I love this way to start the week, looking at beautiful monochrome photographs.

This building is beautiful. I love stone structures. The port looks gorgeous.

Have a beautiful day.

I really like the second and third ones there, just great shots. The third I like because it's a cemetery and I always think they are great places to take pictures. Plus, they are always quiet and peaceful. Great job on all of the shots and your light room adjustments afterwards!

I love how peaceful everything looks, especially that long exposure with the clouds – it feels like time just slowed down.
