Knowles Beach area Dartmouth MA
Good Morning and wishing you a greta day
Its still fairly cool here, well for me damn chilly with the highs not getting above freezing point for a few weeks now, so still digging into my archives for photos to share
Hopefully the weather will warm up soon, even though I am getting my exercise in through steps and riding my exercycle each morning, I do miss getting out for sunrise walks with my camera.
Now i know many deal with a lot colder temps ndf impressed how they cope with that, but once it gets near to freezing let alone below freezing point, my body just does not like it, like this morning, the real feel was about 1 F and actualy temp 14F, I just popped to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription earlr, and with just the short walk into and out of the pharmacy my knees are still aching even though I am back at home inthe warm, OK i admit age is probably a factor i have to vconceed I am not as young as I used to be.
OK enough of a waffling start on to today's photos
These were from a morning when I went to Dartmouth a neighboring town, and parked by the boat ramp at Apponganasett beach.
Its a spot i visit now and again for a change from my regular spots, the boat ramp there is probably the most active one I visit, just about every day I go there I see a few boats being put into the water and heading out.
So I start my walk there, generally take some shots around the boat ramp, and then walk out towards and over this bridge, which goes to a charming little community Padanaram, but my focus for today is the beahc off to the left of the bridge, well not so much the beach, but the area Knowles Beach

from the bridge I took this next shot the beach itself is off to the left of this pond and marshy area

and speaking of the marshy area, I find this view quite calming and always hope to catch a nice sunrise over the green marsh

The cold gets rougher and rougher the older I get. I was actually thinking the other day whether not I want to deal with this the rest of my life. Of course moving out of the state isn't really an option, but I don't think I have ever even entertained that idea before this year!
I vcan relate I at times during this winter, wonder why we moved here when I retired, but then I spend time with the grandkids and know why :)
Yes, that is a very good reason to be where you are!
It's cold here in Montreal too... it's better to be inside sorting through photos, especially the one with the blue sky and bright sunshine 😀
As always beautiful pics, have a great day

That is so pretty... I love the morning blues left in the first one, not quite all blue but still close! That was a gorgeous sunrise with the foreground providing so much scenery. You're a lucky man, you live close by so many great photographic opportunities!
