a warm morning walk

Good Morning I hope all is well

earlier this week we had some real hot temps real feel up to 107F which I think is close to 42C, bbut as I mostly go out for early morning walks it generally is a lot cooler then, but when I headed out one morning during the warm days one morning was hotter than expected, the temp was 81 so I thought fine for a walk, but I didnt check the real feel which was around 95 or so and even though i say inthe title a warm morning walk it was hot, swat was dripping off me.
Fortunatly I did sort of plan ahead and instead of the two bottles of water i normally go out with I took three that morning, but they did not last long, when I was about half way towards my step goal I ran out of water and decided to be sensible and call it quits

But I did get some nice shots that morning which I will share now

That morning I went and parked at Fort Tabor National Park, and started with a walk around the edge of the park around the old fort

As I did I stopped at this spot for a shot and a drink

After the walk around the fort I walked on the beach by this stage I had finished the first bottle of water and was a good way through the second bottle

Another shot from on the beach, even though it was hot and I was thinking by this stage I shouldnt walk to long the sunrise was so nice i kept going

So I walked out to East Beach and after taking this shot i finished off the last of my water, and thought to myself why had I walked out of the fort to the beach when I knew I was on my last bottle LOL

I stopped for this shot on the way back and then got into the car ramped up the AC and cooled down, Luckily I did have the three bottles of water and did not get dehydrated, I did many years ago in my tenties suffer from heat exhaustion once, so I am generally very careful, and was creful enough thta morning and did not suffer any ill effects, and took it easy the rest of the day for the most part, but did get some steps in around the house to get my 10K goal in just that day
