Flowers and something more... [ESP/ENG]

Amo las flores. No importa el tipo de sesión que vaya hacer. Si voy cámara en mano, sin duda al final del día, tengo unas cuantas capturas de flores que voy encontrando en mi recorrido. Y con suerte alguna que otra enredada en el pelo.
Estas que escogí para compartir hoy con ustedes fueron hechas hace unos años de cuando empezaba en este maravilloso mundo de la fotografía.

I love flowers. It doesn't matter what kind of shoot I'm doing. If I go camera in hand, no doubt by the end of the day, I have a few captures of flowers I come across on my walk. And hopefully the occasional one tangled in my hair.

De esta flor les comento que junto a la Mariposa Blanca, Flor Nacional de mi país, es de mis flores preferidas. Su olor es simplemente exquisito.
Oriunda de México, América central, Venezuela, además de ser la Flor Nacional de Nicaragua. Símbolo de inmortalidad por su extraño poder en la producción de hojas y flores. La llaman Alhelí, Flor de Mayo, Sacuanjoche, Laurel-Mango, Suchi.
En Cuba es muy común encontrar los arbustos en las casas, perfumado jardines y patios, en cambio no encontré un nombre. Todos a los que pregunté, sólo sabían hablarme de su maravilloso olor y la belleza de sus flores.
Cubanos, saben su nombre en nuestro país?? Y en el tuyo como le dicen?

Unmm!!! Las Orquídeas
Flor preferida por muchos. Mi mamá siempre tiene sembradas en casa, aunque una especie diferente llamada Orquídea de Chocolate, oriunda de Cuba. Pero esta foto en especial la tomé en El Senado, en Camagüey. En casa de uno de los tíos de Alejandrito que tiene un jardín hermoso con una infinita variedad de plantas.
Esta flor en especial recibe el nombre de Orquídea Filipina, por lo común que suele verse en regiones de Asia Tropical.

A favorite flower for many. My mom always has them planted at home, although a different species called Chocolate Orchid, native to Cuba. But I took this special picture in El Senado, in Camagüey. At the house of one of Alejandrito's uncles who has a beautiful garden with an infinite variety of plants.
This flower in particular receives the name of Philippine Orchid, because it is so common in regions of Tropical Asia.

Bombita, explota explota, ploti ploti, esta planta tiene unas cápsulas muy sensibles a la humedad. Cuando niña recogíamos unas cuantas de estas cápsulas, llenábamos un plato de agua y las echábamos ahí y a esperar a que ellas solas hicieran la magia. Empezaban explotar una a una y nosotros saltando de la emoción.
Esta flor hermosa y delicada abre de día y cierra de noche y le da paso a su fruto, estas cápsulas responsables de tantos recuerdos lindos de nuestra niñez.

Bombita, explota explota, ploti ploti, this plant has capsules that are very sensitive to humidity. Realmente no tengo mucho que decir de esta planta, pues la conozco muy poco. Eso sí, cuando la vi no pude evitar retratar esta flor que crecía silvestre dándole color y llenando de vida un terreno abandonado.
