Prunus Triloba During Cherry Blossoms

Spring has already come to Beijing, and natural beauty is just flourishing everywhere, especially in the natural parks, which are now full of flowers, and thousands of visitors are visiting them every day. During these days, I always use all of my opportunities to visit such scenic places on weekends and holidays. Beijing gets its best scenic views in this spring season.

In this cherry blossom season, Prunus triloba, sometimes called flowering plum or flowering almond, is one of the most spectacular flower species that is found in this spring season. It is also known as a shrubby cherry. The most amazing fact about this flower tree is that during its blooming time, there are no leaves on the tree, but it is full of flowers, which makes the area so attractive. The flowers are pale pink or white,[3] and the fruit are red and "pubescent", i.e. with soft hair. It originates from China but is popular around the world as an ornamental.

These flowers were in full bloom during my visit to the Beijing botanical garden. I walked around the park area and enjoyed the floral vibes of the day with the fascinating beauty of the flowers there. Although the day was not sunny, the flowers' bright colors made the surroundings look so bright and beautiful. It is a realization of why flowers are known as symbols of purity. They are so adorable, and after the rain, they become so soothing and touching!
