Happy Friday, dear friends. The weekend is upon us and with it comes new opportunities to relax, share and enjoy. I sincerely hope that your plans are wonderful, that they allow you to connect with what is good for you, and that you make the most of it, whether to relax, to have fun or simply to recharge your batteries.
In my case, I will be working this weekend. I have already been notified by the Sunsol chain, so I will have to continue with my tours as part of my work and share some time with my family. Although I recognize that sometimes I would like to have Saturday and Sunday off like many, I also feel fortunate to do what I like, especially when the work involves contact with people and environments so special.
This Thursday was, as most of my days tend to be, quite busy. I got up early as usual, and as I looked out the window I noticed that the weather was cool, with a slightly overcast sky. It had rained intermittently during the night, which left the air cleaner and more humid. I knew the day would remain somewhat cloudy at various times, but that didn't bother me; there is a special beauty in the gray skies and the soft light they cast.
Feliz viernes, queridos amigos. Ya comienza el fin de semana y con él llegan nuevas oportunidades para descansar, compartir y disfrutar. Espero sinceramente que sus planes sean maravillosos, que les permitan conectar con lo que les hace bien, y que lo aprovechen al máximo, sea para relajarse, para divertirse o simplemente para reponer energías.
En mi caso, este fin de semana estaré trabajando. Ya fui notificada por la cadena Sunsol, así que me tocará continuar con mis recorridos como parte de mis labores y así compartir algunos momentos con mi familia. Aunque reconozco que a veces me gustaría tener libre el sábado y domingo como muchos, también me siento afortunada de hacer lo que me gusta, sobre todo cuando el trabajo implica contacto con personas y entornos tan especiales.
Este jueves fue, como suelen ser casi todos mis días, bastante ocupado. Me levanté temprano como siempre, y al mirar por la ventana noté que el clima estaba fresco, con un cielo ligeramente cubierto. Durante la noche había llovido intermitentemente, lo que dejó el aire más limpio y húmedo. Sabía que el día se mantendría algo nublado en varios momentos, pero eso no me molestó; hay una belleza especial en los cielos grises y en la luz suave que proyectan.
My tour today was brief but significant. I only had to visit the Sunsol Unik and then the Wyndham Concorde, so I decided to organize everything with my husband. Many of you already know that on cloudy days I prefer not to drive, so I deeply appreciate your company and support from my husband. We headed first to Sunsol Unik, where I proceeded to check the chlorine parameters. Everything was in order, the levels were optimal, and although the process took a little longer than usual, I was not inconvenienced. The quality personnel were assembled, which made access a little difficult, but I understand that these situations happen, and as long as I can do my job properly, I am at ease.
Mi recorrido de hoy fue breve pero significativo. Solo tenía que visitar el Sunsol Unik y luego el Wyndham Concorde, así que decidí organizar todo con mi esposo. Muchos ya saben que en días nublados prefiero no conducir, así que agradezco profundamente su compañía y apoyo de mi esposo. Nos dirigimos primero al Sunsol Unik, donde procedí a chequear los parámetros de cloro. Todo estaba en orden, los niveles eran óptimos, y aunque el proceso me tomó un poco más de tiempo de lo usual, no me incomodó. El personal de calidad estaba reunido, lo cual dificultó un poco el acceso, pero entiendo que estas situaciones ocurren, y mientras pueda hacer mi trabajo correctamente, estoy tranquila.
We finished that first part of the tour and headed to the second destination; the Wyndham Concorde. Although the sky was still overcast, the cityscapes and natural landscapes along the route were enchanting. There is something special about cloudy days; they have their own character, their discreet magic that invites contemplation.

At the Concorde, I performed my duties with attention. As it is a five-star hotel, the processes are more strict and protocol, which demands a little more time and care. However, everything was carried out satisfactorily, and both the hotel team and I were happy with the result. From the balconies of the William concord you could see part of the marina, they were beautiful views, and that is why I wanted to share them with you.
We left the place with the feeling of having done our duty, which is always comforting.
En el Concorde realicé mis tareas con atención. Como es un hotel cinco estrellas, los procesos son más estrictos y protocolares, lo que demanda un poco más de tiempo y cuidado. Sin embargo, todo se llevó a cabo de forma satisfactoria, y tanto el equipo del hotel como yo quedamos contentos con el resultado. Desde los balcones del William concord se podía ver parte de la marina, fueron unas vistas hermosas, y por eso las quise compartir con ustedes.
Salimos del lugar con la sensación de haber cumplido con el deber, que siempre es reconfortante.
Very close to the hotel is Playa Caracola, a place that many of us know and love. Passing by there, even briefly, always gives me a moment of encounter with nature, with that rebellious sea that in turn inspires serenity and freedom. I really enjoy that part of the tour, because it gives me peace, it makes me feel in harmony.
Muy cerca del hotel está Playa Caracola, lugar que muchos conocemos y amamos. Pasar por allí, aunque sea brevemente, siempre me regala un momento de encuentro con la naturaleza, con ese mar rebelde que a su vez inspira serenidad y libertad. Disfruto mucho de esa parte del recorrido, porque me da paz, me hace sentir en armonía.
Back home, my husband and I continued to enjoy the road, observing the natural and urban landscape around us. These everyday moments, though simple, are full of beauty and meaning. It never hurts to get the job done and have a little taste of wrong.

Saturday and Sunday are days of rest and relaxation, but some people prefer them for outings and meeting friends because they are busy with their work all week, so Saturday and Sunday are the only days that can be spent with children and with their friends.
Personally, I don't usually accept that kind of job unless it is an emergency at a hotel. I value time with my family very much, they are one of my main reasons and priorities.
