This Saturday, I will enjoy a well-deserved rest with my family, something I deeply appreciate after a week of work full of learning, travels, and special moments.
For me, every work trip represents a new adventure. No matter how many times I have visited a place, there is always something new to discover, a different view to admire, or a story to tell. This past Friday was undoubtedly one of those relaxed workdays that will remain in my memory. It was an excellent, peaceful, and rewarding day at work. From the moment I left home in the morning, I felt a positive energy that stayed with me throughout the day, until I returned to the warmth of my home.
The destination for the day was the beautiful Hotel Sunsol Ecoland, where every week we carry out the important task of chlorinating the main tank.
The journey there is, in itself, an experience that I enjoy very much. Taking the Portachuelo road, surrounded by majestic mountains, is simply fabulous. Nature shows itself in all its splendor, and one cannot help but feel small in the face of such beauty. It is a journey that invites reflection, and gratitude.

Este sábado disfrutaré de un merecido descanso junto a mi familia, algo que valoro profundamente después de una semana de trabajo llena de aprendizajes, recorridos y momentos especiales.
Para mí, cada recorrido de trabajo representa una nueva aventura. No importa cuántas veces haya visitado un lugar, siempre hay algo nuevo que descubrir, una vista diferente que admirar o una anécdota que contar. Este viernes que recién culminó fue, sin duda, uno de esos días de trabajo relajado que se quedan en la memoria. Fue una jornada de trabajo excelente, tranquila y gratificante. Desde el momento en que salí de casa en la mañana, sentí una energía positiva que me acompañó durante todo el día, hasta el momento en que regresé al calor de mi hogar.
El destino de esta jornada fue el hermoso Hotel Sunsol Ecoland, donde cada semana realizamos la importante labor de clorar el tanque principal.
El trayecto hasta allá es, por sí solo, una experiencia que disfruto muchísimo. Tomar el camino de Portachuelo, rodeado de majestuosas montañas, es simplemente fabuloso. La naturaleza se muestra en todo su esplendor, y uno no puede evitar sentirse pequeño ante tanta belleza. Es un recorrido que invita a la reflexión, a la contemplación.
Upon arriving at the hotel, as usual, we checked in and headed to the tank to carry out the necessary tasks. The first thing we did was measure the TDS (total dissolved solids) levels, and to our delight, they were low. This is an excellent sign, as it indicates that the desalination plant is operating optimally. Thanks to this, it was not necessary to increase the hypochlorite dose in the main tank as much, which is always good news for both the system and the environment.
Al llegar al hotel, como de costumbre, nos registramos y nos dirigimos al tanque para realizar las labores correspondientes. Lo primero que hicimos fue medir los niveles de TDS (sólidos disueltos totales), y para nuestra alegría, estaban en un nivel bajo. Esto es una excelente señal, ya que indica que la planta desalinizadora está funcionando de manera óptima. Gracias a eso, no fue necesario elevar tanto la dosis de hipoclorito en el tanque principal, lo cual siempre es una buena noticia tanto para el sistema como para el medio ambiente.
The work flowed with admirable harmony. Everything went according to plan, without any setbacks, and we managed to complete our tasks quickly and, above all, with the quality that characterizes us.
El trabajo fluyó con una armonía admirable. Todo salió según lo planeado, sin contratiempos, y logramos culminar nuestras tareas con rapidez y, sobre todo, con la calidad que nos caracteriza.
This efficiency allowed me to take a moment to enjoy the surroundings and capture some photographs of the breathtaking views from above with my camera. The panorama was so spectacular that I felt inspired to share it with you.
Esta eficiencia me permitió tomarme un momento para disfrutar del entorno y capturar con mi lente algunas fotografías de las impresionantes vistas desde lo alto. El panorama, era tan espectacular que me sentí inspirado a compartirla con ustedes.
On the way back, as we drove along Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue, we decided to make a quick stop at El Tirano beach. Our initial intention was to buy some fresh fish for dinner, but by that time we couldn't find what we were looking for. However, as often happens in life, the unexpected gave us something even better: a few minutes of peace by the sea, watching the boats resting on the shore.
En el camino de regreso, mientras transitábamos por la avenida Simplicio Rodríguez, decidimos hacer una pequeña parada en playa El Tirano. Nuestra intención inicial era comprar un pescado fresco para la cena, pero por la hora ya no conseguimos lo que buscábamos. Sin embargo, como suele suceder en la vida, lo inesperado nos regaló algo aún mejor: unos minutos de paz junto al mar, observando las embarcaciones que descansaban en la orilla.
My eyes lingered on a group of fishermen who, with patience and skill, worked to keep their bait alive using nets. It was a simple moment, but deeply beautiful. Manzanillo Beach gave us a peaceful moment, so I couldn't help but share with you that special moment, where work and the sea came together to form a beautiful combination.
Mis ojos se detuvieron en un grupo de pescadores que, con paciencia y destreza, trabajaban para mantener viva sus carnadas, utilizando redes. Fue un momento sencillo, pero profundamente hermoso. La playa de Manzanillo nos regaló un momento sereno, por eso no podía dejar de compartir con ustedes ese instante tan especial, donde se mezclo el trabajo y el mar, formando una hermosa combinación.
That's how my Friday ended: with a job well done, beautiful scenery, and a perfect ending by the sea. I am grateful for each of these beautiful moments.
