[ENG/ESP] When the effort is worth it
Greetings, dear hives and friends of #dailyblog. I hope you are well and enjoying a beautiful day.
I want to share with you an experience I had yesterday, Friday, while going about my work routine at the hotel. As usual, I was focused on my duties when the maintenance manager came over to ask me a special query. He asked me if I could go to the condominium where some of his relatives live to provide them with a service, since he recommended me for the seriousness and commitment with which we assume each task.
His confidence in our work filled me with joy, because it is always gratifying to know that our effort and dedication are recognized. I did not hesitate to accept, with the satisfaction that we are leaving a very positive mark with our work.

Quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia que tuve ayer, viernes, mientras realizaba mi rutina de trabajo en el hotel. Como es habitual, estaba concentrada en mis labores cuando el gerente de mantenimiento se acercó para hacerme una consulta especial. Me preguntó si podía ir al condominio donde viven unos familiares suyos para prestarles un servicio, ya que me recomendó por la seriedad y compromiso con el que asumimos cada tarea.
Su confianza en nuestro trabajo me llenó de alegría, pues siempre es gratificante saber que nuestro esfuerzo y dedicación son reconocidos. No dudé en aceptar, con la satisfacción de que estamos dejando huella muy positiva con nuestro trabajo.
Once I finished my working day at the hotel, I went to the Bella Vista sector, located in the Mariño municipality of Nueva Esparta state, in the beautiful Margarita Island. There I found the Tirreno building, the place I had to go to. Fortunately, the name of the building was clear and visible, which helped me to easily locate it among other similar buildings.
Una vez terminada mi jornada laboral en el hotel, me dirigí al sector Bella Vista, ubicado en el municipio Mariño del estado Nueva Esparta, en la hermosa Isla Margarita. Allí se encuentra el edificio Tirreno, el lugar al que debía acudir. Afortunadamente, el nombre del edificio era claro y visible, lo que me ayudó a ubicarlo fácilmente en medio de otros similares.
Upon arrival, I met with some of the condominium members to listen to their needs and learn more about the work to be done. With great attention, I listened to their concerns in order to prepare a budget according to their expectations. It was a very positive conversation, and I left the meeting very satisfied with the trust they placed in me. Now, the only thing left to do was to write the budget and wait for their approval.
As I left the building, I took a moment to contemplate the scenery of this enchanting place. Sometimes, in the middle of the routine, we don't stop long enough, but that moment allowed me to fully appreciate and enjoy the whole place. I always take a few shots with my lens to show you.
Al llegar, me reuní con algunos de los integrantes del condominio para escuchar sus necesidades y conocer mejor el trabajo que debía realizarse. Con mucha atención, escuché sus inquietudes para poder elaborar un presupuesto acorde a lo que esperaban. Fue una conversación muy positiva, y salí del encuentro bastante satisfecha por la confianza que depositaron en mí. Ahora, solo quedaba redactar el presupuesto y esperar su aprobación.
Al salir del edificio, me tomé un momento para contemplar los paisajes de este encantador lugar. A veces, en medio de la rutina, no nos detenemos lo suficiente, pero aquel momento me permitió apreciar y disfrutarlo plenamente todo el lugar. Siempre realice algunas tomas con mi lente para poder mostrarles.
After this tour, we continued our journey taking Andorza Manrique Avenue, until we reached the Ríos market.
Luego de este recorrido, continuamos nuestro trayecto tomando la avenida Andorza Manrique, hasta llegar al mercado Ríos.
There we took the opportunity to buy some necessary things, among them a chocolate drink that my father loves. I was excited about the idea of surprising him with this detail, because I know it will make him very happy, he does not have the patience to go to several places to find it, so when I see it or know where I can get it, I buy it without hesitation.
Allí aprovechamos para comprar algunas cosas necesarias, entre ellas una bebida achocolatada que a mi padre le encanta. Me emocionaba la idea de sorprenderlo con este detalle, pues sé que le alegrará mucho, él no tiene paciencia para recorrer varios lugares hasta encontrarla, por eso yo cuando la veo o sé dónde la puedo conseguir, se la compro sin dudar.
When the effort is worth it, we finally returned home appreciating the natural and urban landscape, also with great satisfaction for having a productive and special day.
I am excited about the new budget I am about to prepare, and I hope everything goes as planned.
I realize that the effort we all put in has paid off.
