[ENG/ESP] Wednesday's route with challenges, confidence, and beautiful landscapes.
Happy Wednesday, beautiful community. As every week, I am here with you to participate in the wonderful initiative of @tattoodjay, which many of you already know and enjoy. This proposal gives us the opportunity to share our journeys, our daily experiences, and to show those moments that, although simple, have a special value in our lives.
My journey began early, on my way to work, accompanied by a spectacular sunrise. The weather couldn't have been better, with that characteristic Margarita warmth that, although sometimes overwhelming, is now part of our routine and who we are. That warmth that embraces us, reminding us that we are on an island full of life.
Feliz miércoles, hermosa comunidad. Como cada semana, estoy aquí con ustedes para participar en la maravillosa iniciativa de @tattoodjay, que muchos ya conocen y disfrutan. Esta propuesta nos da la oportunidad de compartir nuestros recorridos, nuestras vivencias cotidianas, y de mostrar esos momentos que, aunque simples, tienen un valor especial en nuestras vidas.
Mi recorrido comenzó temprano, camino al trabajo, acompañado de un amanecer espectacular. El clima no pudo estar mejor, ese calorcito característico de Margarita que, aunque a veces agobia por tanto calor, ya forma parte de nuestra rutina y de lo que somos. Ese calor que abraza, que nos recuerda que estamos en una isla llena de vida.
This week I'm spending more time at the Sunsol Unik hotel. As an urban hotel, it has certain unique characteristics that set it apart from others in the chain. That's why my work there requires more attention, especially when it comes to monitoring and verifying water quality. I know I can be very demanding at times, but I like everything to be in order, with every detail taken care of. And now that we're in high season, my level of alertness increases. Many seasonal guests trust our facilities, and that trust is maintained thanks to the rigorous controls we carry out.
Seeing so many people choose the Sunsol chain as their vacation destination gives me great satisfaction. It's a sign that the effort is worthwhile, that my work is well done and that it helps others enjoy themselves with peace of mind. That feeling of a job well done is very rewarding.
Esta semana me toca estar más tiempo en el hotel Sunsol Unik. Al ser un hotel urbano, tiene ciertas características particulares que lo diferencian de otros de la cadena. Por eso, mi trabajo allí requiere más atención, especialmente en lo que respecta al control y verificación de la calidad del agua. Sé que a veces soy muy exigente, pero me gusta que todo esté en orden, que cada detalle esté cuidado. Y ahora que estamos en temporada alta, mi nivel de alerta aumenta. Muchos temporadistas confían en nuestras instalaciones, y esa confianza se sostiene gracias a los rigurosos controles que realizamos.
Ver que tantas personas escogen la cadena Sunsol como su destino vacacional me genera una gran satisfacción. Es una señal de que el esfuerzo vale la pena, de que mi trabajo está bien hecho y que contribuye a que otros disfruten con tranquilidad. Esa sensación de deber cumplido es muy gratificante.
After finishing up at the hotel, my husband and I went out to look for some blocks we needed for a job. The weather was still spectacular, which allowed us to enjoy the ride and appreciate some urban landscapes that, although everyday, have their charm. I took the opportunity to take some photos, because every corner of the island has something to tell.
Después de terminar con los controles en el hotel, mi esposo y yo salimos en busca de unos bloques que necesitábamos para un trabajo. El clima seguía espectacular, lo que nos permitió disfrutar del recorrido y apreciar algunos paisajes urbanos que, aunque cotidianos, tienen su encanto. Aproveché para tomar algunas fotos, porque cada rincón tiene algo que contar en la Isla.
Our second stop was at the Mariño municipal engineering office, located in the Piache industrial zone, right across from the Porlamar concrete plant, known by many as “the quarry.” Unfortunately, we couldn't find the blocks or sealant we were looking for there. But we didn't get discouraged, as we were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, which made our stay pleasant even though we didn't find what we were looking for.
Nuestra segunda parada fue en la oficina de ingeniería del municipio Mariño, ubicada en la zona industrial del Piache, justo frente a la planta de concreto de Porlamar, conocida por muchos como “la cantera”. Lamentablemente, allí no conseguimos ni los bloques ni el producto sellador que buscábamos. Pero no nos desanimamos, ya que pudimos apreciar un lindo entorno, que hizo agradable nuestra estancia aunque no conseguiremos nada.
We continued touring the city, enjoying the natural and urban landscapes that appeared at every turn. The island's climate accompanied us with its light and warmth, making everything look more beautiful. And as often happens when you least expect it, we found the blocks at a block factory very close to our house. Not only were they reasonably priced, but they were also of excellent quality. In addition, the service we received was so friendly that we will definitely return on another occasion.
Seguimos recorriendo la ciudad, disfrutando de los paisajes naturales y urbanos que se nos presentaban a cada paso. El clima de la isla nos acompañaba con su luz y su calidez, haciendo que todo se viera más bonito. Y como suele pasar cuando uno menos lo espera, encontramos los bloques en una bloquera muy cerca de nuestra casa. No solo estaban a buen precio, sino que eran de excelente calidad. Además, el trato que recibimos fue tan amable que sin duda volveremos en otra ocasión.
With all of the day's tasks completed, we decided to return home. We felt satisfied, not only because we had achieved what we set out to do, but also because of the moments we shared and the landscapes we were able to capture with our camera. Those little moments that remain stored in our memory and in our photographs.

Ya con todas las tareas del día cumplidas, decidimos regresar a casa. Nos sentimos satisfechos, no solo por haber logrado lo que nos propusimos, sino por los momentos compartidos y los paisajes que pudimos capturar con el lente.
