Today I am here once again with you dear friends of #amazingnature, to tell you about the tree house.
Today has been a great day, with lots of sun and a lot of heat here in Isla Margarita.
Hoy estoy acá una vez más con ustedes queridos amigos de #amazingnature , para hablarles de la casita del árbol.
hoy ha sido un día genial, con mucho sol y bastante calor acá en Isla Margarita.
On several occasions some birds have nested in the cherry bush, when the breeze is strong, shaking the nests and making them fall to the ground, breaking their eggs, that gives us some sadness.
En varias ocasiones algunas aves han hecho nido en la mata de cerezas, cuando la brisa es fuerte, sacudiendo los nidos y haciéndolos caer al suelo, rompiendo sus huevos, eso nos da cierta tristeza.
We are concerned about other birds, like this stubborn woodpecker, who insists on building his house on this power pole outside the house.
Nos preocupan otras aves, como este carpintero que es obstinado, el insiste en construir su casa en este poste de electricidad que hay fuera de la casa.
I tell you that we have a bird trough at home, it only needed to have a little house for the birds.
Les cuento que tenemos en casa un abrevadero para aves, solo le faltaba tener cerca una casita para las aves.
My husband a few days ago, at my request, made one with wood cuttings that he had at home.
Mi esposo hace unos días a petición mía, elaboró una con recortes de maderas que había en casa.
We put it on a tree trunk that we have under a Marabú tree that gives great shade, so many birds come here.
La colocamos en un tronco de árbol que tenemos debajo de un árbol de Marabú que da una sombra genial por eso llegan varias aves.
Near this tree we have a cotton plant, which many birds come to it to collect material to make their nests. We did not plant this plant, it came out by itself, we have kept it, because it can be useful. We did not know it, a neighbor was the one who told us about it, we thought it was good to have it.
Cerca de este árbol tenemos una planta de algodón, que muchas aves acuden a ella para recolectar material, para elaborar sus nidos. Está planta no la sembramos, sola salió, la hemos conservado, porque puede ser útil. Nosotros no la conocíamos, un vecino fue el que nos dijo, consideramos que era bueno tenerla.
At dawn we went to see if the house was already occupied by any birds, but we were even more surprised to see a small iguana inside.
Al amanecer fuimos a ver si ya la casita estaba ocupada por alguna aves, pero nos dimos mayor sorpresa, al ver en su interior una pequeña iguana.
My son took it in his hands as soon as he saw it. Then he left it among the plants to feed.
Mi hijo tan solo de verla la tomo en sus manos. Después la dejo entre las plantas para que se alimentará.
Apparently the immense heat made her take refuge in the tree house, without realizing that it was the most dangerous place because she could become bird food being so small.
Al parecer el inmenso calor la hizo refugiarse en la casita del árbol, sin percatarse que era el lugar más peligroso porque podía convertirse en comida para aves siendo tan pequeña.
So we will have to wait a few more days to see which of the birds will nest in the little house, I have to be patient and give it more time.
Así que tendremos que esperar unos días más a ver cuál de las aves anida en la casita, tengo que ser paciente y darle más tiempo.

Many birds come, to drink water at the watering hole my sister @lileisabel , some nest where they can, I felt I owed them the little house 🌹🌷🌺🌻🏵️💮🌼🌸☘️
