I wish you all a beautiful and delightful day—a day that feels as gentle as a cool breeze and as warm as the first rays of the sun. Here on our beloved Margarita Island, the weather continues, as always, to treat us to that eternal summer that has become part of our identity. It’s a constant embrace of light, warmth, and clear skies that accompanies each of our days.
Today my husband and I got up very early, almost at the crow of the roosters, because we had to do our work routine on the motorcycle. The thing is, the Margarita sun is unforgiving; it’s so fierce and intense that it’s best to take advantage of the morning, when you can still breathe in the cool air and the heat hasn’t yet fallen with that relentless force of 2:00 p.m. At that hour, anyone feels the sun sinking so low that it seems too close.
As is my custom, while my favorite driver—my husband, of course—drives, I take the opportunity to take pictures of our journey. The day was so beautiful it seemed to beg to be preserved on postcards. Every corner sparkled, every shadow had its charm, and every stretch of the road seemed to tell a different story.

Aquí en nuestra querida Isla de Margarita el clima continúa, como siempre, regalándonos ese eterno verano que ya forma parte de nuestra identidad. Es un abrazo constante de luz, calor y cielo despejado que acompaña cada una de nuestras jornadas.
Hoy mi esposo y yo nos levantamos bien temprano, casi con el canto de los gallos, porque teníamos que hacer nuestra rutina de trabajo en la moto. Y es que el sol margariteño no perdona; es tan bravo y tan intenso que lo mejor es aprovechar la mañana, cuando todavía se puede respirar frescura y el calor no cae con esa fuerza implacable de las 2:00 pm. A esa hora, cualquiera siente que el sol baja de manera que se siente demasiado cerca.
Como ya es costumbre en mí, mientras mi chófer favorito —mi esposo, por supuesto — el maneja, yo aprovecho para tomar fotografías de nuestro recorrido. El día estaba tan hermoso que parecía pedir a gritos ser guardado en postales. Cada rincón brillaba, cada sombra tenía su encanto, y cada tramo del camino parecía contar una historia distinta.
Today’s route was simple, almost effortless. We just had to carry out our routine chlorination and disinfection at the Sunsol Unik hotel and then at the Parque Costa Azul shopping center. Since both locations are very close—just a few meters apart—the work is much easier. Not having to travel long distances is a huge relief, especially when the sun starts beating down.
Upon arriving at the Sunsol Unik, we carried out our work quickly and efficiently. Everything went smoothly; the parameters were at ideal levels, which always fills us with satisfaction because it confirms that we’re doing things right. It’s nice to feel that our constant effort is paying off and that the spaces we maintain are kept in perfect condition.
Nuestro recorrido de hoy era sencillo, casi ligero. Solo teníamos que hacer nuestra rutina de clorado y desinfección en el hotel Sunsol Unik y luego en el centro comercial Parque Costa Azul. Como ambos lugares quedan muy cerca, a pocos metros uno del otro, el trabajo se hace más llevadero. No tener que trasladarse largas distancias es un alivio enorme, sobre todo cuando el sol empieza a subir con fuerza.
Al llegar al Sol Unik, realizamos nuestro trabajo de forma rápida y eficiente. Todo fluyó de maravilla; los parámetros estaban en los niveles ideales, lo que siempre nos llena de satisfacción porque nos confirma que estamos haciendo las cosas bien. Es bonito sentir que el esfuerzo constante da frutos y que los espacios que atendemos se mantienen en perfectas condiciones.
We then moved on to the Parque Costa Azul shopping center, where the disinfection process also went off without a hitch. When work goes this smoothly, without any stress, you feel light, almost radiant—just like the day itself. There are days that just feel right, and this was one of them.
Luego pasamos al centro comercial Parque Costa Azul, donde la dinámica de desinfección también fluyó sin complicaciones. Cuando el trabajo se da así, tan suave, tan sin tensiones, uno se siente ligero, casi radiante, como el mismo día que nos acompañaba. Hay jornadas que simplemente se sienten alineadas, y esta fue una de ellas.
With all our tasks completed, we set off for home. On the way, we saw that the gas station was empty—a miracle in itself—and we took the opportunity to fill up the motorcycle’s tank. That motorcycle is a marvel; with all the riding we did, it only used two liters of gas. So, after filling up the tank, we continued on our way home, happy, relaxed, and with that wonderful feeling of accomplishment.
Con todas las tareas cumplidas, emprendimos el regreso a casa. En el camino vimos que la estación de gasolina estaba vacía —un milagro en sí mismo— y aprovechamos para completar el tanque de la moto. Esa moto es una maravilla; con todo lo que rodamos, solo gastó dos litros de gasolina. Así que, después de llenar el tanque, seguimos rumbo a casa, contentos, tranquilos y con esa sensación bonita de haber cumplido.
Today was simple, yes, but deeply meaningful. Sometimes the most valuable things are found in the everyday—in those little things that go right, in the harmony of a day without any surprises. That’s why I always say that what’s important lies in the simple things. And today, more than ever, I saw that to be true.
