[ENG/ESP] Simple but special moments.
I wish you a great weekend full of pleasant moments. Although I had to work, I must admit that everything flowed very well and fast, which is always a relief when it comes to fulfilling our responsibilities.
Today I left home past lunchtime, as the task I was supposed to do could not be done early. I had to wait for the water trucks to deliver to the hotel so I could do my check and ensure the quality of the water. This procedure is essential to ensure that the hotel guests can enjoy reliable water, meeting the necessary standards.
Since it was the weekend, my husband decided to accompany me, it had been raining a bit and he feels that every precaution is not enough. We thought it was a good idea to combine work with some recreation, as we wanted to take a tour of the mall afterwards. It is always more pleasant to do any task when you have the company of a loved one.
After finishing the quality check at the hotel, we left for the Sambil shopping mall, which gave us the opportunity to see the rainbow in the distance.
Les deseo un fin de semana genial y lleno de momentos agradables. Aunque tuve que trabajar, debo admitir que todo fluyó muy bien y rápido, lo que siempre es un alivio cuando se trata de cumplir con nuestras responsabilidades.
Hoy salí de casa pasada el horario de almuerzo, pues la tarea que me correspondía realizar no podía ser temprano. Tenía que esperar a que las gandolas de agua surtieran al hotel para poder hacer mi comprobación y garantizar la calidad del agua. Este procedimiento es esencial para asegurar que los clientes del hotel puedan disfrutar de agua confiable, cumpliendo con los estándares necesarios.
Como era fin de semana, mi esposo decidió acompañarme, había estado lloviendo un poco y toda precaución a él le parece poca. Nos pareció una buena idea combinar el trabajo con algo de esparcimiento, ya que luego queríamos dar un recorrido por el centro comercial. Siempre es más agradable realizar cualquier tarea cuando uno cuenta con la compañía de un ser querido.
Al terminar la comprobación de calidad en el hotel, partimos rumbo al centro comercial Sambil, eso nos dio la oportunidad de poder apreciar el arcoíris a lo lejos.
By the time I finished at the hotel it was getting late in the afternoon, and the landscapes that combined the urban with the natural became really beautiful. Sometimes, in those moments of the day, I feel that the sunset lights paint everything with a special and relaxing tone.
Cuando termine en el hotel ya estaba cayendo la tarde, y los paisajes que combinaban lo urbano con lo natural se tornaban realmente hermosos. A veces, en esos momentos del día, siento que las luces del atardecer pintan todo con un tono especial y relajante.
We were lucky to get parking easily at the mall, which was a pleasant surprise. The island was already a little more relieved of seasonal visitors, which made everything much quieter and more pleasant.
Tuvimos suerte al conseguir estacionamiento fácilmente en el centro comercial, lo cual fue una grata sorpresa. La Isla ya estaba un poco más aliviada de temporadistas, lo que hacía todo mucho más tranquilo y agradable.
Walking through its corridors was a real pleasure, with that relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy every corner.
We passed by the famous fish bridge, which always seems a marvel to me. I noticed that they had made some changes in the decoration of the pond, adding new plants that gave a fresh and colorful air. That attention to detail always surprises me and makes me appreciate even more the spaces we visit.
Caminar por sus pasillos fue un verdadero placer, con ese ambiente relajado que invita a disfrutar de cada rincón.
Pasamos por el famoso puente de los peces, que siempre me parece una maravilla. Observé que habían hecho algunos cambios en la decoración del estanque, agregando nuevas plantas que daban un aire fresco y lleno de color. Esa atención al detalle siempre me sorprende y me hace apreciar aún más los espacios que visitamos.
A little hungry, we decided to head to the gourmet area to choose a place to eat. In the end, we opted to enter Pollo Arturo, a place that I love for its delicious chicken drumsticks with sweet and sour sauce. It's a combination that never disappoints me, and for me it's almost a ritual to enjoy this dish accompanied by fries.
Con algo de hambre, decidimos dirigirnos al área gourmet para elegir un lugar donde comer. Al final, optamos por entrar a Pollo Arturo, un sitio que me encanta por sus deliciosos palitos de pollo con salsa agridulce. Es una combinación que nunca me decepciona, y para mí es casi un ritual disfrutar de este plato acompañado de papas fritas.
We went upstairs, from where we could look at part of the gourmet area of the mall from a different angle. I enjoyed every bite, and even ended up eating my husband's sweet and sour sauce, as he is not a big fan of this type of flavor.
Subimos a la planta de arriba, desde donde podíamos mirar una parte del área gourmet del centro comercial desde un ángulo diferente. Disfruté cada bocado, y hasta terminé comiéndome la salsa agridulce de mi esposo, ya que él no es muy fanático de este tipo de sabores.
After lunch, we were so satisfied that we preferred to walk for another while before returning home. During our tour, we stopped by “Efe” ice cream. Today there was a variety, and I decided to try a “barquilla de mantecado” with caramel. I usually order the traditional buttery or chocolate ones, but this time I was in the mood for something different. I can assure you that it was incredibly delicious and super creamy. My husband, who is a fan of the pastries, couldn't resist and ordered another one.
Después de la comida, quedamos tan satisfechos que preferimos caminar otro rato antes de regresar a casa. Durante nuestro recorrido, pasamos por los helados “Efe”. Hoy había variedad, y me animé a probar una barquilla de mantecado con caramelo. Normalmente pido las tradicionales de mantecado o chocolate, pero esta vez me apetecía algo diferente. Les puedo asegurar que estaba increíblemente deliciosa y súper cremosa. Mi esposo, que es fanático de las barquillas, no pudo resistir y pidió otra más.
Walking around and enjoying our nacelles, we took one last tour of the mall, admiring every detail before heading home. It was a simple but special day, full of small pleasures that really make a difference.
Caminando y disfrutando de nuestras barquillas, dimos un último recorrido por el centro comercial, admirando cada detalle antes de regresar a casa. Fue un día sencillo pero especial, lleno de pequeños placeres que realmente hacen la diferencia.
