[ENG/ESP] Organizing the week, a productive Sunday
Happy and productive start to the week for everyone.
Yesterday, the weather finally improved a little. After several days of rain, I woke up to clear skies and a cool breeze that heralded a more pleasant day. I knew this week would be quite busy, so I decided to take advantage of Sunday to do some important shopping that I will need in the coming days.
My husband and I left home early with a clear list in mind. Our first stop was at the Más x Menos market, where we had to buy several essential items. Among our shopping priorities was food for our pets, especially our dog Frida. She sometimes has trouble eating well, which makes it difficult for her to relieve herself normally. That's why we try to supplement her diet with dog food made from cereal, meat, and vitamins. This type of food suits her very well, but lately it has become difficult to find.
We walked through the aisles of the market hoping to find it, but we had no luck. Despite everything, we continued to enjoy the moment, selecting the other products we needed.

Ayer finalmente el clima mejoró un poco. Después de varios días de lluvias, desperté con el cielo despejado y una brisa fresca que anunciaba un día más agradable. Sabía que esta semana estaría bastante ocupada, así que decidí aprovechar el domingo para hacer algunas compras importantes que necesitaré en los próximos días.
Salimos de casa temprano, mi esposo y yo, con una lista clara en mente. Nuestra primera parada fue en el mercado Más x Menos, donde teníamos que comprar varios productos esenciales. Dentro de las prioridades de nuestras compras, estaba la comida de nuestras mascotas, especialmente de nuestra perrita Frida. A veces tiene problemas para comer bien, lo que le dificulta hacer sus necesidades con normalidad. Por ello, intentamos complementar su dieta con una perrarina de cereal, carne y vitaminas. Este tipo de alimento le sienta muy bien, pero últimamente se ha hecho difícil conseguirlo.
Recorrimos los pasillos del mercado con la esperanza de encontrarla, pero no tuvimos suerte. A pesar de todo, seguimos disfrutando del momento, seleccionando los demás productos que necesitábamos.
We decided to go to the market in Sigo, where we had been told we could probably find dog food.
The journey to Sigo turned into a moment of enjoyment. We took in the scenery as the sun began to rise higher in the sky. When we reached Jovito Villalba Avenue, we came across a group of young cyclists training. They were taking advantage of the calm Sunday morning, with less traffic, to practice on the road.
Decidimos entonces ir al mercado de Sigo, donde nos habían dicho que probablemente conseguimos la perrarina.
El trayecto hacia Sigo se convirtió en un pequeño momento de disfrute. Íbamos apreciando el paisaje mientras el sol comenzaba a tomar más fuerza en el cielo. Al llegar a la avenida Jovito Villalba, nos encontramos con un grupo de jóvenes ciclistas entrenando. Aprovechaban la calma del domingo, con menos circulación de vehículos, para practicar en la vía.
Shortly after, we arrived at the Parque Costa Azul shopping center, where the Sigo market is located. We went in hoping to find Frida's food because at the previous market they told us we could find it there, and to our delight, we found it. There wasn't much in stock, so we bought two packages, which will last Frida quite a while because I will only give her 160 g every other day. It was a small victory that gave me great satisfaction, because knowing that Frida will have her favorite food reassures me. We left the market with a sense of relief, ready to complete our last task of the day.
Poco después, llegamos al centro comercial Parque Costa Azul, donde está el mercado Sigo. Entramos con la esperanza de encontrar el alimento de Frida porque en el mercado anterior nos refirieron que allí lo encontramos, y para nuestra alegría, lo conseguimos, no había mucho en existencia y compramos dos paquetes, eso a Frida le durará bastante porque solo le daré 160 g días alternos . Fue una pequeña victoria que me dio mucha satisfacción, pues saber que Frida tendrá su comida favorita me tranquiliza. Salimos del mercado con una sensación de alivio, listos para completar nuestra última tarea del día.
The next destination was Los Robles gas station, our favorite, where we usually find fuel without any major inconveniences. Although we had to wait in a short line, the process was quite fast, and we managed to fill up the tank without any problems. With everything we had planned accomplished, we returned home satisfied that we had organized everything well to make up for our week.
El siguiente destino fue la estación de servicio Los Robles, nuestra favorita, donde generalmente encontramos combustible sin mayores inconvenientes. A pesar de que tuvimos que hacer una pequeña fila, el proceso fue bastante rápido y logramos cargar el tanque sin problemas. Con todo lo planeado cumplido, regresamos a casa con la satisfacción de haber organizado bien todo para compensar satisfactoriamente nuestra semana.
Upon arrival, we settled in at home and enjoyed a well-deserved rest. The tranquility of Sunday and the evening breeze were the perfect ending to a productive day.
Thus, we concluded our relaxing and satisfying Sunday. Now, I am preparing for the challenges and opportunities that the coming days will bring. I hope to see you again soon in another one of my posts, sharing more experiences from my daily life.
