As for me, I’ll make the most of my day too, and tomorrow, I’ll be happy to tell you all about how this beautiful Sunday unfolded.
But first, I want to share with you how my Saturday went—a day that combined work, nature, and beautiful surprises that made it completely worth it.
My husband and I left home early, as part of our routine at Sunsol Ecoland. This week we’ve been paying close attention to your pools, since Holy Week is just around the corner and we want to make sure everything is in perfect condition. We’ve devoted ourselves wholeheartedly to the preparations, ensuring that the water quality remains at its best. It’s a job we do with responsibility, care, and commitment, because we know how important it is for those who visit this beautiful place.
Les deseo un domingo maravilloso, lleno de momentos lindos, de esos que se disfrutan sin prisa y en compañía de las personas que realmente apreciamos y amamos. Ojalá hoy puedan regalarnos un respiro, una sonrisa y un instante de gran alegría. Yo, por mi parte, también aprovecharé mi día, y mañana, con gusto, les contaré cómo transcurrió este hermoso domingo.
Pero antes, quiero compartirles cómo fue mi sábado, un día que combinó trabajo, naturaleza y hermosas sorpresas que hicieron que valiera completamente la pena.
Salimos temprano de casa, mi esposo y yo, como parte de nuestra rutina en Sunsol Ecoland. Esta semana hemos estado muy atentos a sus tanques, pues la Semana Santa está a la vuelta de la esquina y queremos asegurarnos de que todo esté en perfectas condiciones. Nos hemos dedicado con esmero a los preparativos, velando porque la calidad de sus aguas se mantenga al máximo. Es un trabajo que hacemos con responsabilidad, cariño y compromiso, porque sabemos lo importante que es para quienes visitan este hermoso lugar.
We took the road to Portachuelo, passing through the picturesque village of Tacarigua and then Santana. Every time we go through there, I’m amazed by how the island has corners that never cease to surprise, even if you’ve seen them a thousand times. There’s something about the light, the air, and the way nature settles in that always creates a different postcard-perfect scene.
Tomamos el camino de Portachuelo, atravesando el pintoresco poblado de Tacarigua y luego Santana. Cada vez que pasamos por allí, me maravilla cómo la isla tiene rincones que nunca dejan de sorprender, aunque uno los haya visto mil veces. Hay algo en la luz, en el aire, en la forma en que la naturaleza se acomoda, que siempre regala una postal distinta.
When we arrived at Ecoland, we were greeted by the charismatic Carel, who always welcomes us with a smile and that wonderful energy that makes any workday feel lighter. We carried out our tasks with the dedication that defines us, checking every detail until we were completely satisfied with the results. It was a project that left both parties satisfied, and that always brings a sense of peace of mind and a job well done.
Al llegar a Ecoland, fuimos recibidos por la carismática Carel, quien siempre nos recibe con una sonrisa y esa energía bonita que hace más ligero cualquier día de trabajo. Realizamos nuestras labores con la responsabilidad que nos caracteriza, revisando cada detalle hasta quedar completamente conformes con los valores y resultados. Fue un trabajo en el que ambas partes quedamos satisfechas, y eso siempre da una sensación de tranquilidad y deber cumplido.
Once the day was over, I couldn’t resist the temptation to take a few photos. From that spot in the hotel, the views are simply spectacular: mountains, sky, sea… a natural scene that invites you to pause and take it all in. I like to capture those moments so I can share them with you later, because I feel that beauty, when shared, multiplies.
Una vez terminada la jornada, no pude resistir la tentación de tomar algunas fotografías. Desde ese punto del hotel, las vistas son simplemente espectaculares: montañas, cielo, mar… un cuadro natural que invita a detenerse y contemplar. Me gusta capturar esos momentos para luego compartirlos con ustedes, porque siento que la belleza, cuando se comparte, se multiplica.
As we left the hotel, we passed by La Playa Lagoon. And of course, I couldn’t help but stop. The scenery was worth it. It’s wonderful to see the sun glistening on the water, creating beautiful reflections. I took several photos, because I couldn’t possibly keep all that natural beauty to myself.
Al retirarnos del hotel, pasamos por la laguna La Playa. Y claro, tampoco pude evitar detenerme. El paisaje lo merecía. Es hermoso poder ver el resplandor del sol sobre el agua, creando hermosos reflejos. Tomé varias fotos, porque sería imposible guardarme para mí sola tanta belleza natural.
We were on our way home when we got a call from our son. He excitedly told us that the first quails from the eggs in our incubator were hatching. They were due on the 23rd, but they came early and gave us a wonderful surprise. Imagine how happy we were. Those little miracles of life always warm the heart.
Seguimos camino a casa cuando recibimos la llamada de nuestro hijo. Con emoción nos contó que estaban saliendo del cascarón las primeras codornices de los huevos que tenemos en la incubadora. Tenían fecha para el día 23, pero se adelantaron y nos regalaron una sorpresa preciosa. Imagínense nuestra alegría. Esos pequeños milagros de la vida siempre llenan el corazón.
