[ENG/ESP] My work routine under the Caribbean heat.

It has been raining a little at night lately, but when I wake up, it has stopped and the weather is very pleasant. In fact, the landscapes are more colorful than usual, which is something I love and enjoy very much. The leaves shine with that intense green hue that only rain can bring, and the air feels fresher, and the atmosphere much cleaner and dust-free. It's as if nature is taking a break and giving us a silent spectacle in the morning that invites us to go out and enjoy the day.

En estos días ha estado lloviendo un poco en la noche, pero al despertar ya ha cesado y el clima está súper agradable. De hecho, los paisajes están más coloridos de lo habitual y eso es algo que me encanta y disfruto mucho. Las hojas brillan con ese tono verde intenso que solo la lluvia puede regalar, y el aire se siente más fresco, y el ambiente mucho más limpio y desempolvado. Es como si la naturaleza se tomará un respiro y nos regalara un espectáculo silencioso en la mañana que invita a salir y aprovechar el día.
I went out to do my work routine at the Sunsol Unik hotel. In previous days, I had a change of plans due to a priority at another hotel in the chain, so I was already looking forward to returning to the Unik. This hotel has a special energy, perhaps because it is the only urban hotel in the Sunsol chain. It has its own rules and characteristics that must be respected, but that makes it unique and special. I arrived at the Unik full of enthusiasm, where I was very well received. The truth is that I am always welcomed warmly and professionally, although sometimes I have to wait a little while to get started, which I understand perfectly given the dynamics of the place.
Salí a hacer mi rutina de trabajo al hotel Sunsol Unik. En días anteriores tuve un cambio de planes por prioridad en otro de los hoteles de la cadena, así que ya extrañaba volver al Unik. Este hotel tiene una energía especial, quizás por ser el único hotel urbano de la cadena Sunsol. Tiene sus reglas y características particulares que hay que respetar, pero eso lo hace único y especial. Con todo mi entusiasmo llegué al Unik, donde fui muy bien recibida. La verdad es que siempre me reciben bien, con cordialidad y profesionalismo, aunque en ocasiones debo esperar un poco para comenzar, lo cual entiendo perfectamente por la dinámica del lugar.
I happily performed the measurement and routine checkup. All parameters were fine, which is always a relief because it means the system is working properly. I only scheduled two weekly cleanings of the laundry filter because the pipes are having slightly high TDS levels. It is important to keep those levels under control to avoid future complications, so I took note and adjusted the maintenance schedule.
Felizmente realicé la medición y el chequeo rutinario. Todos los parámetros estaban bien, lo cual siempre es un alivio porque significa que el sistema está funcionando correctamente. Solo planifiqué dos limpiezas semanales del filtro de lavandería porque las vías están teniendo los TDS un poco altos. Es importante mantener esos niveles bajo control para evitar complicaciones futuras, así que tomé nota y ajusté el cronograma de mantenimiento.
When I finished, I went with my husband to the Zoom office to pick up another package from our son. It's always exciting to pick something up from him, even if it's just a small box with everyday items that are useful to him. The sky was bright and the heat was overwhelming, so I couldn't neglect my hydration. I kept my water bottle handy and tried to take frequent sips to stay cool. The sun was strong, but that didn't stop us.
Al terminar, salí con mi esposo a la oficina de Zoom para recoger otra encomienda de nuestro hijo. Siempre es emocionante recoger algo de él, aunque sea una pequeña caja con cosas cotidianas que le son útiles. El cielo estaba radiante y el calor era abrumador, por lo que no podía descuidar mi hidratación. Llevaba mi botella de agua a mano y procuraba tomar sorbos frecuentes para mantenerme fresca. El sol estaba fuerte, pero eso no nos detuvo.
We finish our tour of the city to check some prices for materials we need for a project we have in mind. We like to compare options and look for the best quality and price. After that, we continue on to Sambil, which is where our favorite Zoom office is located. We like that place because the service is good and the atmosphere is comfortable.
Terminamos nuestro recorrido por la ciudad para chequear algunos precios de unos materiales que necesitamos para un proyecto que tenemos en mente. Nos gusta comparar opciones y buscar lo mejor en calidad y precio. Después de eso, continuamos rumbo a Sambil, que es donde está la oficina de Zoom que más nos agrada. Nos gusta ese lugar porque tiene buena atención y el ambiente es cómodo.
After picking up our package, we headed home to get ready for the next day. It was late, and our bodies needed rest.
Después de recoger nuestra encomienda, fuimos camino a casa para poder prepararnos para el día siguiente. Ya era tarde y el cuerpo pedía descanso.
We organized ourselves, reviewed our tasks for the day, and made sure we had everything ready to continue with our activities. It was a productive day, full of activity, but also pleasant moments that make routine charming.
That's how our day went. Life is made up of these little moments that, when you look closely, are immensely valuable.
