A new week has just begun, and with it come new daily challenges. Every day is an opportunity to renew our energy, set goals, and continue moving forward with enthusiasm. I wish you a day full of positivity, good vibes, and the desire to do things well.
My day started early in the morning, with extremely sunny weather and a little heat. But those of us who live in Margarita are used to our eternal summer. We learn to cope with the hottest days with patience and, above all, by staying hydrated. That is the key to staying active and healthy on this beautiful island.
On my way to work, I took some pictures that I will show you, as is my custom, since I want you to enjoy my daily commute almost as much as I do. I love sharing those little moments that make each day special, from the clear sky to the colors of the vegetation that surrounds us.

Una nueva semana recién comienza y con ella llegan los nuevos retos del día a día. Cada día es una oportunidad para renovar energías, plantearse metas y seguir avanzando con entusiasmo. Les deseo un día lleno de mucho positivismo, buena vibra y ganas de hacer las cosas bien.
El mío comenzó bien temprano en la mañana, con un clima sumamente radiante y un poco de calor. Pero ya los que vivimos en Margarita estamos acostumbrados a nuestro eterno verano. Aprendemos a sobrellevar los días más calientes con paciencia y, sobre todo, cuidando la hidratación. Esa es la clave para mantenerse activo y saludable en esta hermosa isla.
Camino al trabajo capturé algunas imágenes que les mostraré, como ya es costumbre en mí, puesto que quiero que disfruten mi recorrido diario casi con la misma intensidad que lo hago yo. Me encanta compartir esos pequeños momentos que hacen especial cada jornada, desde el cielo despejado hasta los colores de la vegetación que nos rodea.

This was a special day: we were finally going to fill the Sunsol Unik shredder with the loads needed to start it up. We had been planning this activity for a week, but the hotel was fully booked and we couldn't do it any earlier. So, as soon as the opportunity arose, we organized ourselves to make the most of it.
We arrived early in the morning to get the work started at a good pace.

Este día era especial: por fin llenaríamos el desbarrador del Sunsol Unik con las cargas necesarias para ponerlo en marcha. Llevábamos una semana planificando esta actividad, pero el hotel tenía ocupación y no se podía intervenir antes. Así que, apenas se presentó la oportunidad, nos organizamos para aprovecharla al máximo.
Llegamos temprano en la mañana para iniciar el trabajo con buen ritmo.

This cylinder is quite large, so we first had to make sure that the new PPR pipes were correctly installed. We chose this type of pipe not because it is the latest on the market, but because it is more resistant and less polluting when installed. Unlike PVC, which requires glue to join and leaves chemical residues with an odor and taste, PPR joints are made with heat, without chemicals, making them safer and cleaner.

Este cilindro es bastante grande, por lo que primero había que asegurarse de que las tuberías nuevas de PPR estuvieran correctamente instaladas. Elegimos este tipo de tubería no porque sea lo último del mercado, sino porque es más resistente y menos contaminante al momento de instalar. A diferencia del PVC, que requiere pegamento para unir y deja residuos químicos con olor y sabor, las uniones de PPR se hacen con calor, sin químicos, lo que las hace más seguras y limpias.

After checking that everything was in order, we began to place the loads in the cylinder. While Luis and my husband took care of that task, which was the heaviest, I was in charge of making the joints for the two ends of the cylinder. It was meticulous work, but necessary to ensure that everything was properly sealed.

Después de verificar que todo estaba en orden, comenzamos a colocar las cargas en el cilindro. Mientras Luis y mi esposo se ocupaban de esa tarea, que era la más pesada, yo me encargaba de elaborar las juntas de las dos bocas del cilindro. Fue un trabajo minucioso, pero necesario para garantizar que todo quedara bien sellado.

With half of the cylinder full, they rotated the position so as not to put too much strain on the body. This relay dynamic allowed us to move forward without exhausting ourselves too much. Little by little, we managed to fill the cylinder completely. Then the lid with its gasket was put on, which is screwed on with stainless steel screws to prevent breakage and ensure the durability of the system.

Al tener la mitad del cilindro lleno, ellos rotaron la posición para no maltratar tanto el cuerpo. Esa dinámica de relevo nos permitió avanzar sin agotarnos demasiado. Poco a poco, logramos llenar el cilindro por completo. Luego se colocó la tapa con su junta, que va atornillada con tornillos de acero inoxidable para prevenir roturas y asegurar la durabilidad del sistema.

Once everything was tightened and we had checked that there were no leaks, we adjusted the pressure and purged the air from the pipe. This process is crucial, as it prevents any pipes from bursting due to excess pressure. Just when we thought everything was going well, we noticed that water was starting to leak from a joint. We acted quickly, adjusted that joint, and everything returned to normal. It was a minor setback, but we resolved it efficiently.

Una vez apretado todo y comprobado que no había fugas, pasamos a regular la presión y purgar la tubería de aire. Este proceso es crucial, ya que de él depende que no se reviente ninguna tubería por exceso de presión. Cuando pensábamos que todo marchaba bien, notamos que por una unión comenzó a salir agua. Actuamos rápido, ajustamos esa junta y todo volvió a la normalidad. Fue un pequeño contratiempo, pero lo resolvimos con eficiencia.

Finally, we started up the deburrer, connected to the other filter, and everything worked perfectly. We were very pleased with the result. Teamwork really pays off when everyone knows what they have to do and there is a bond of support and commitment. That's why we say that we are more than a team, we are a family when it comes to work. We all support each other a lot, and that shows in the results.

Finalmente, pusimos el desbarrador en marcha, acoplado con el otro filtro, y todo funcionó perfectamente. Quedamos muy complacidos con el resultado. El trabajo en equipo realmente da frutos cuando cada quien sabe lo que tiene que hacer y existe un vínculo de apoyo y compromiso. Por eso decimos que más que un equipo, somos una familia a la hora de trabajar. Todos nos apoyamos mucho, y eso se nota en los resultados.

Our day was intense because it took us all day to gradually level out the loads. But we were satisfied that we did a good job. That's what it's all about: giving our best and feeling proud of what we've achieved.

Nuestro día fue intenso, porque el trabajo nos llevó toda la jornada para nivelar poco a poco las cargas. Pero quedamos satisfechos por haberlo hecho bien. De eso se trata: de dar lo mejor de nosotros y sentir orgullo por lo logrado.
